All the hotel staff were very friendly and approachable. Jacob at the front desk was humorous and polite. When my son asked if we could switch our King bed to twin beds, Jacob happily accommodated us. The only suggestion I have is about the restaurant's cutlery, plates, and cups—they weren't very clean, so I had to pick out the clean ones myself. Of course, the older female staff member in the restaurant was very friendly. I just observed that only two ladies were busy working in the entire restaurant, one in the kitchen and one clearing tables, so they probably couldn't keep up. If this could be improved, I would gladly choose this hotel again next time.

This hotel is perfect for a family road trip. It's located right by the beach, offering a very comfortable environment. The breakfast spread is also excellent. The only slight drawback is the AUD 15 charge for parking.

1. The view we had overlooked the entrance and car park. Meaning we couldn't open our curtains without being on show to the rest of the guests coming or going. 2. I had to remake my bed as the mattress cover was the bottom sheet and didn't cover the mattress so our feet were resting on the mattress. I had to ask housekeeping for an extra sheet to remake the bed. 3. We had no milk for our coffee. 4. The QR code on our room service didn't work. 5. The was no phone in the room to ring for room service. My wife had to go to the bar and order our meal. 6. The shower area was very slippery and there were no disable rails in the shower nor on the wall next to the toilet. 7. There was no proir advice at booking time saying that there was a $15 per day for room paying guests yet non staying guests did not have to pay. 8. There were not enough luggage trollies available at the busy arrival and departure times. 9. There were no WiFi passwords available in rooms nor were there instructions on the operation of the out dated TV. 10. I will not be using this hotel chain. It appears that there were money saving cuts to to the services available. 11. The services available on the QR code on the room key cover pouch was never mentioned to us on arrival. On mentioning some of these problems that we had during our 4 night stay we were never offered any compensation for our unsatisfactory stay.

The room was very comfortable and inviting, perfect for families. Out of all the hotels we stayed at during our 8-day trip, this one had the most comfortable bed. The outdoor pool was heated, and there was also a small hot spring pool which was wonderfully warm and relaxing.

The hotel was good. It was clearly an hold hotel which they had renovated but still showed signs of its age and former life. The room was massive and the lobby was good. The breakfast buffet was great with a variety of hot food options, pastries, fruit, yoghurt and egg station where a cook would prepare eggs to your liking. The only negative was the cups for juices were small, although I’m sure you could ask to change. The car park was pricey for what was on offer and the EV chargers did not work - this was a known issue they haven’t fixed which is disappointing.
