All the hotel staff were very friendly and approachable. Jacob at the front desk was humorous and polite. When my son asked if we could switch our King bed to twin beds, Jacob happily accommodated us. The only suggestion I have is about the restaurant's cutlery, plates, and cups—they weren't very clean, so I had to pick out the clean ones myself. Of course, the older female staff member in the restaurant was very friendly. I just observed that only two ladies were busy working in the entire restaurant, one in the kitchen and one clearing tables, so they probably couldn't keep up. If this could be improved, I would gladly choose this hotel again next time.

This hotel is perfect for a family road trip. It's located right by the beach, offering a very comfortable environment. The breakfast spread is also excellent. The only slight drawback is the AUD 15 charge for parking.

Super great and nice hotel The best choice in Port Macquarie.

The room was very comfortable and inviting, perfect for families. Out of all the hotels we stayed at during our 8-day trip, this one had the most comfortable bed. The outdoor pool was heated, and there was also a small hot spring pool which was wonderfully warm and relaxing.

It's an older hotel with dated and local-style decor. Parking costs extra, but the service was very warm and friendly. The hotel boasts beautiful scenery. Unfortunately, I arrived too late to enjoy the views.

The hotel's location is excellent. The waterfront rooms have balconies with comfortable views, and shopping and dining options nearby are convenient. There's free but inconvenient street parking right outside the hotel, or paid parking for AUD 15 per day inside the hotel.

We chose this hotel for its location. Unfortunately for us it’s rained so the location was spoiled. But that isn’t the reason for the poor review. We were greeted by a request for $15 a day for the hotel car park (We had already paid in advance for the room and breakfast). The lobby and bar was full of Drs and Medical Reps for a two day convention so we had to fight our way to our room each day. We ate in the restaurant and my steak was cold and the rest luke warm. Breakfast was a buffet style and was messy, not checked and trays were empty and the worst we have had travelling. On check out we were charged again for our breakfast and the manager was condescending until she realised she was incorrect.

It was a fantastic stay. Service, cleanliness, location and amenities..chefs kiss. The buffet was the best part of the morning, and the food served was delicious. Props to the chefs and workers. The chefs made such various indulgent food choices and the workers would help take the dirty dishes away. The shopping centres were located near the mall, making it easier to buy goods. The location was obviously the best part. The sea to look at from your hotel room (if you had the seaside/poolside view) was breathtaking. I know for sure you would enjoy Sails Hotel, 10/10 stay and experience. Me and my family are definitely going there again.
