"We really enjoyed our stay at Mangoes. It was impeccably clean and well located - a beautiful view of the lagoon and a bit cut off (but not too far) from the city. The service and facilities were generally very good, the pools were lovely and reception helpful in organising travel into town for us. The restaurant has a lovely array of dishes across the day, however there were a few instances where we felt they were over-priced. and a bit underwhelming in terms of portion sizes. Mileage may vary for others. We ended up opting for other restaurants in town. Would definitely recommend a stay for those looking for a chill few days in Vila."

"Well we were staying at the Troppo mystique villas across the water from Erakor and spent XMAS day here with the resort guests Well where do I start the staff were amazing the decorations were amazing the food was sensational the whole vibe was one of the best Xmas days spent away from home Well done to all the staff , the band and everyone one else involved A big thanks to Annie who looked after us all day you are a credit to the resort And to Julius the best water taxi driver in the business Cheere Darren and Karen"

Pacific Lagoon Apartments
"Fantastic stay, Chris, his family and the onsite team were lovely. Lots of advice on where to visit and help organising transport for day trips and evenings out. The apartment is by the lagoon, you can walk to the Erakor ferry at low tide (high tide would recommend taking some sea shoes or borrowing some from the equipment store onsite). Would definitely return and recommend, as long as you don’t mind taking buses (super easy to get) or taxis or hiring to get to some of the iconic places like Hideaway Island, Blue Lagoon, Vila Markets and evening restaurants. Supermarket isn’t far away, and lovely kitchen in the apartments if you don’t want to venture out for food options."
Waves at Surfside
"Our stay at Waves at Surfside in Pango was absolutely incredible! We stayed in a spacious 3-bedroom beachside villa and were pleasantly surprised by the elegant furnishings and king-size beds. The private swimming pool and ocean view from our bedrooms were pure luxury. Pango surf break, one of Vanuatu's prime surf beaches, provided endless excitement, home to the annual Leimalo Surfing Competition. The convenience of local buses at our doorstep made it easy to explore Port Vila and enjoy nearby restaurants, all just a short ride or walk away. Our adventures included snorkelling in Pango in front of the villa, with the special experience of swimming with a dugong on our first day, surfing the break, and exploring local cuisine at Port Vila markets. Honeymoon Beach offered amazing snorkelling with colourful coral and tropical fish. Waves at Surfside offered the perfect blend of relaxation, adventure and cultural immersion on the Pango peninsula. For an unforgettable beachfront experience in Vanuatu, this is the place to be. We're eager to return for more oceanfront luxury next to the best surf in Efate and the friendly Pango village."

"I travelled to Port Vila as part of a team of 4 volunteers - we all volunteer for Taskforce Kiwi and were travelling on to Ambrym Island to carry our damage assessments after Cyclone Lola. We stayed twice at Kaiviti Motel - and the owners and staff were wonderful - very accommodating and friendly. We didn't have a car but everything is in walking distance - the location is perfect. We had a 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen, and found it to be very clean and suited us well. We were either working or in the pool."

"Extremely disappointed. Terrible management (Hong Kong owed, not locals) If you do make the mistake of staying here, watch your bank account closely! I was charged twice and had to argue to receive it back. Rooms smelt mouldy and are noisy."
