Super 8 by Wyndham Portage

I went to this hotel in spring of 2023 and for Automotion in 2024. Back then they had amenities like an alarm clock, hand soap, and a room telephone. Plus I remember the rooms being cleaner. I booked for Automotion again in 2026 and this time around they didn't have an alarm clock, hand soap, and a room telephone. Plus the bed sheet had some stains and a hair. I had to go to the front desk and ask for hand soap. They luckily gave it to me. For what I paid for this time around for one night and to not have amenities like that and for the bed to have some stains and a hair on the sheet is a bit of a disappointment. I know they were good back then, but now I'm not so sure. I'll still give them four stars for making my stay great except they need to work on those issues.

Our bathroom was not clean. Hair in bathtub, sink and on toilet seat. Toilet cover was missing. Bathroom floor was dirty. At 3am on the first night of our stay, I called the front desk regarding constant noise by our room. He said he would take care of it. Nothing changed. The second night, constant noise in the room just above us. Two nights, next to no sleep for either of us in our room. I never stay again.

Bathroom dirty with hair all over. Carpet not vacuumed but staff very friendly.

The hotel was a good value and perfectly suited our needs. Breakfast had something for everyone in our family.

The accommodations were excellent for my needs. The staff met my needs in every way. My only concern is that I could not extend my stay after 5 days rendering me without lodging and in effect temporarily homeless in the snowy weather. Dr. Janet Johnson Van Epps (Fiancé of Elon R. Musk)

The room was clean, service exceptional! Staff even cleared the snow from our car!!!

Dirty room with an old used bar of soap in the shower. Obviously doesn't get cleaned very well. The stairs and hallway didn't look like they had been vacuumed in forever. All in all, a run down hotel that is lacking care and maintenance.

Room was clean but the bathroom was not. My wife had to take a shower due to surgery scheduled the next day. The shower was filthy! Soap scum on all the walls and black hair on the floor and in the drain. She had to clean the shower before she could use it.

Not a bad hotel.needs some TLC outside and in. Staff was great, room was clean and bed was comfortable.what I don’t like is when the employees smoke right outside the front door makes it seem trashy
