Important to say at the outset that this wellness resort is in fact two hotels and they are not joined and there is a steep hill between the two. That said, this was really not a problem for us. The only issue was the taxi booked as part of our package, dropped us at the wrong hotel. The hotel sorted it out for us, apparently it happens a lot. We were in the 'adults only Costa zone' hotel and the available facilities are inferior even if you do have to pay for the extra Balinese beds etc at Cala. The cocktail bar at Cala is far superior. The lovely, small beach is nearer to Cala. That said we were perfectly happy and we used the bar and the pool as well as the pool and bar at Costa. Breakfast was very good and we had no complaints with our room. To say it had a sea view was pushing it, you would need binoculars to appreciate it. The staff were on the whole excellent although the lady who 'greeted us' on arrival had very little interest in her role. Once you get your bearings you can walk to the other beaches, the fantastic harbour and all the restaurants of the area. I would definitely return in the future.

Wanted a short stay holiday. Was perfect for us. Was nice and quiet, bit of building work going on, but didn't really hear it. Close to a small bay. Restaurants and local shops about a 15-minute walk. Buses were quite frequent and a good service. The hotel was great. Food was excellent, staff lovely and friendly, pool area was nice and quiet. The room was clean and comfortable. Took the shuttle bus into palma. It was a good service 10 euros each way only took about 15 minutes well worth it.

Just the BEST! we've stayed about 10 times over the last 4 years, the team are amazing, the hotel is immaculate, and the pool area and cafè is managed by Jamier he is AMAZING. Nothing is too much trouble. There are many hotel choices in Portal Nous, but this ticks all the boxes. Bit of renovation outside but no real noise, so don't be put off. We're heading back out again on 23rd June for a long weekend 😎

Absolutely loved the hotel. The staff were excellent and helpful always. The room 428 was great size overlooking a pool at top. The pools are great and never had an issues finding a sunbed. Breakfast was great plenty of choice and no issue getting a table. Lunch by was great value for money. Plenty of choice and not expensive. Overall superb and the best in the area for VFM. Will return.

Friendly staff really great breakfast buffet very clean hotel with a fabulous pool bar !we’re going back in June for another stay ! Very central for our travelling around our favourite places in Mallorca

The hotel is nice looking and fairly close to a beach. The spa is not much spa more like an indoor swimming pool but not big enough for many. There is a smaller sauna also. It's not for the spa you should come. The fitness area is not much either. You live very close to your neighbors here and its okay for the price. The breakfast is actually pretty good as the chef can make eggs and pancakes for you. A wide range of good food I think. Not optimal for people with allergies but manageable. BUT there is so much noise from the construction right across the street it can be heard from everywhere in the hotel and dining-area. Very important to know this and the hotel should be more clear about it. They made noise from 8.48 in the morning and sometimes from 9.45 in the morning. It's not fair - all a hotel should make sure of is a good night sleep which is essential for most guests. So a sleeping earplugs and headphones + facemasks for the eyes should be default. I complained about the noise knowing they couldnt stop it but they said they couldnt help and I should resolve it through the booking agency. Which also said they couldnt do much. At least offer some compensation or solution I would think. The hotel staff was very kind when speaking to them but it seemed their manager is not wanting to solve guests issues as they always referred to her. Water in the room is scarce and there is no supermarkets close by. The road is fairly empty and not too much traffic at all. Beach is small but beautiful. Room has what is expected and a boiler. Cleaning seamed fine until I lied on the floor doing exercises and saw just how dirty there where. It's a very shallow cleaning. I might not have noticed but on top of the lack of sleep due to construction and no solution then you as a guest, tends to notice all that is out of place. All in all a fair experience but I think they should lower the price of the rooms in the period the construction is there. Or your guests start getting mad that you didnt warn about it first.

Excellent friendly staff and the most wonderful food! Plenty of pool space and loungers and every room had a balcony. But the best thing was location..just 150 yards from the prettiest cove. Some building work during the week ..but such a pretty area with upmarket villas.

This was a great hotel for a relaxing break, really clean; rooms, food and drink were excellent; staff were friendly and very professional; the beach at the end of the road (200m) was a real bonus. Access to Palma and Portal Nous was very easy.

All in this Hotel is amazing. The staff is so polite, the rooms are comfortable, the experience is really great. All is clean and the decoration show elegance and careful. The breakfast is wonderful, localization so good , in conclusion this hotel offers an really amazing experience.
