Have been staying at the Harbour Inn for around ten years, visiting once or twice each year. Its position overlooking the harbour makes it the perfect place. The inn and the team who work there are amazing and work very hard to make your stay comfortable. Each time we book we always get a harbour view room just because it’s the best thing to see when you open the curtains in the morning and also at night with all the coloured lights stretched around the harbour. This stay we was given room 11 which also has a view of the harbour but the size of the room left us feeling a bit squashed in there. It had all the usual facilities but hardly any room to manoeuvre without standing out the way to let your partner pass. We also felt that parts of the room got missed when it got prepared for the next occupant, particularly in the shower room. Having said that the bed was super comfy and everything worked. We ate in the bar twice during our stay, the steak was delicious and the fish and chips was crunchy too (Just how I like my batter) food was hot and well presented. Good choice of food for breakfast, eggs Benedict was lovely. Apart from the size of the room our stay was the same as it always is - Special.

Enjoyable stay, good food & drink. Room cosy, clean with all amenities and a harbour view. Parking a bit sparse, but managed to get a spot each night. Bar lively, but emptied fairly quickly at 11pm, then quiet all night. Staff very pleasant, with special thanks to the girls who made the rooms up each day.

Another fabulous stay at the Harbour Inn Porthleven. The staff are all so welcoming and can't do enough for you. It is a lively busy pub but they still manage to really look after their hotel guests, of an evening any noise disturbance there may be goes at 11pm, so shouldn't really be a problem. Ours was a late booking so unfortunately no harbour view but our double room with ensuite was more than adequate, clean and serviced daily. It had a small fridge, iron/ironing board, hairdryer and toiletries they have thought of everything. Only one little negative, in room no.6 there was a lack of shelving to put things on, apart from this everything was thoughtfully planned out. Plenty of choice for breakfast each morning, cooked to perfection served again with happy smiling faces. We had 1 evening meal which was beautiful the only reason we didn't eat there more often being that there are so many lovely places to eat in Porthleven you really need too try as many as possible. It is truly a very special place to be and I have no doubt we will return. Thank you and well done to all the staff at the Harbour Inn

No1 were the staff, so helpful and friendly, which I think made our stay special. The room was very comfortable, very clean and fresh. Beers great and good food in the restaurant. We only stopped for the one night, but would definitely stay longer next time.

Last minute decision to stay at Harbour Inn having regularly visited for food/drinks. As with all St Austell pubs/hotels this visit did not disappoint. We had a very warm welcome, a beautiful room with so many unique little touches that shows how much thought and attention to detail go into the guest experience. Cleanliness was excellent, bathroom, fluffy towels, lovely Elemis hand wash, shampoo etc! Bed was so comfortable. The room also had a fridge, chilled water/milk, free tins of Korev and other items to purchase at very reasonable prices. All food was delicious, breakfast very relaxed and service was excellent. And if this isn’t enough the location is amazing as are all the staff; special shout out to Alex, Fraser, and Karen with thanks to you and all your team. Looking forward to our next visit.

A big shout to Ryan; the Assistant Manager, he quickly responded to my request to swap rooms. Given the situation he was willing to change rooms that met our needs, we found him approachable and friendly. Also well done to Kira, a member of staff that was warm and friendly, chatting to me about her future aspirations and the local area whilst the rooms were being sorted. The Hotels position in the harbour is ideal for all visitors; extremely close to a range of eateries and the hub of life in Porthleven, great choice of table and chairs in the bar/ lounge. All the staff and guests were friendly and welcoming. We love the ‘Secret Garden’ to the back of the building, well presented with comfortable seating. Harbour Inn has an extensive choice of alcoholic drinks to meet all tastes. We had their breakfast both days; service was excellent and the quality of the food was superb, thanks to the Chef, the unsung hero.

Me and my husband stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Harbour Inn. It’s in a great location and we found parking no problem along the harbour or in their car park. The room overlooking the harbour was clean, comfortable and really lovely. We had thought it would be a bit noisy at night, but after the pub closes it’s very quiet. The breakfast selection was very good and we ate dinner in the restaurant twice and the food was amazing. We would definitely be happy to recommend and stay again at the Harbour Inn.

Lovely big room with tea making facilities, fresh water and nice biscuits. Huge bathroom with great shower and nice fluffy towels. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. We also had dinner which was delicious, the venison was the tastiest I had ever eaten. The staff were very friendly and made our stay a very pleasant one.
