Attracted by the hotel's official website, which advertises it as having excellent views and facilities, we booked a room with a partial sea view for several days.
Parking: Only 5 spaces, and they're always occupied. You have to drive around the side streets, and if you're lucky—which is very difficult in high season—you'll find a spot relatively close by. Otherwise, you'll have to use private parking or park very far away.
Check-in: 2 people/reception desks. It's slow if there are people waiting.
Room: You might get a room on the 5th or 6th floor, but no, they're not at the very top; they're on the lower floors. It's unclear what their logic is. The rooms on the 6th floor face the garden with sun loungers, and everyone can see you. It's true that you can see the sea/beach in the distance, but not what you'd expect, which would be a partial sea view.
The room was very large and comfortable, with a good bathroom, no toiletries, and a minibar.
Cleanliness: Good. They cleaned the rooms early.
Breakfast: By Spanish standards for 4-star breakfasts... meager. A much wider variety of pastries, dairy products, etc., would be welcome. It's more of a continental style. It's nice to have a pianist playing while you eat breakfast, and a few other thoughtful touches.
Pool: Small, with few sun loungers around it. However, it's not usually crowded and it's pleasant. Good views of the sea and beach from the sun loungers.
Other: Direct access to the beach via a long flight of stairs. Being able to go directly down is appreciated.
Excellent service from the waiters, bellhops, etc.
