This was a very nice place to go would recommend to anyone

I loved this hotel. The rooms have been recently renovated and very comfortable. Everything was immaculate, beds comfortable, friendly front desk people and the shuttle downtown was an added plus. We never needed our car. We stayed for 2 nights. I used my free night plus added points and paid for the 2nd (rated very reasonable for Portland and a good value). My only suggestion is to increase the lighting in the rooms. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when visiting Portland.

Hotel staff was extremely friendly to my family when we arrived. There were free snacks and candy out in the lobby when we walked in. Room was very clean and appeared to be recently refreshed. We even got to enjoy the indoor pool which was a huge hit with my kids! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This is one of the most accommodating Marriott properties that I have stayed at in quite some time. Very convenient to PWM and downtown Portland. The property is undergoing renovations and I stayed in a newly renovated room. First, the renovations are being undertaken in an unobtrusive way. Kudos to the management and staff for that. Second, as for the staff, everyone we encountered was helpful and extremely friendly. We stayed at the property during the most recent spring snow storm and the staff did everything they could to be as helpful as possible and very understanding of our concerns in attempting multiple times to fly out of PWM. We return to Portland often and will certainly make this our preferred property.

I have visited this hotel in the past and had an exceptional experience. The staff at this hotel is great. They are friendly, professional and helpful. My number one reason for retuning to this hotel is the barista that greets guests at the hotel in the morning. HIs name is Patrick. He is friendly and professional. He takes time to offer great place to visit in the area. My sister (from Las Vegas) and I stayed at this hotel back in 2021. My sister was so impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of this gentleman she said it made her whole trip. Whenever she recalls her trip to Maine Patrick's name comes up. This year when my husband and I planned to visited Maine I was sure to book our room at this hotel just because of the excellent service Patrick provided my sister and I a few years ago. Again, during our stay my husband and I were treated exceptionally well by Patrick. Patick's great service is contagious, and his acts of hospitality encourages younger less experienced employees to follow his lead. I will encourage friends and family that are going to be visiting Maine to stay at this hotel. Friendly staff, reasonable rates and clean rooms will keep us coming back. The housekeeping staff are exceptional as well.

Stayed two nights, the staff was welcoming the hotel has some construction going on. Location to airport was good. Beds were not the most comfortable and a lot of noise at night with kids crying and people walking in the room above. Not well insulated do you hear everything...

This Courtyard hotel by Marriott is very convenient hotel for travels to Portland and southern Maine. The hotel is very well maintained. The entire staff is very courteous and the customer service is outstanding. Breakfast was delightful. Patrick prepared and served wonderful food . His friendly outgoing manner makes everyone feel special. The rooms were very clean. The hotel was very full, but everything was well coordinated and made our week-long stay very enjoyable. The location is also good for visiting southern Maine. Everything is easily accessible whether you want to Shop in Portland or visit The beautiful nature trails and parks in the area. I look forward to my next Maine vacation. This hotel is a perfect base for travel.

This place saved us! We were staying at a different hotel and it was awful. Left after one night and thank goodness this place was available. The lobby is immaculate, the rooms were clean and smelled and nice. The people who work here are super friendly, especially the Starbucks guy and front desk lady. Pricing is reasonable especially for summer tourist season. Would come back! Only ask is that they upgrade AC in all rooms to the new, easier to use model. Some of the rooms have an older model that is less obvious on how to use.

Every summer, for the past 5 years, I fly from Detroit to Portland with my son to drop him off at summer camp. We have found the Courtyard Portland Airport to be the perfect home away from home. The location is perfect, easy to get on to the freeways, and close to the Jetport. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. I always book my room here without considering other hotels around the area because I feel I would be disappointed if I stayed elsewhere. I have a soft spot in my heart for the lovely Irish gentleman, Patrick, who runs the Bistro in the morning. He remembers me every year and makes us a delicious breakfast from scratch. He’s so thoughtful and I look forward to seeing him every summer. My son’s favorite after camp activity is candlepin bowling which is not available in Michigan. And my favorite place for lobster rolls is Bite Into Maine, I enjoy their Picnic Style (with coleslaw, celery salt and butter) the most, however all the styles are great! I advise summer travelers to book your hotel rooms way ahead of time. Maine is an incredible state to visit and many visitors from around the world do just that. I personally look forward to returning every summer to enjoy its natural beauty.
