The staff service was excellent. When I asked about train schedules during the Coimbra floods, they went above and beyond by calling the railway company to confirm for me. The complimentary bottled water was replenished daily, and the room itself was spacious and spotless. Breakfast was delicious, especially with the abundant fruit selection.

I highly recommend this hotel! We got upgraded to a room with a balcony and received complimentary fruit. The room was beautiful and very spacious. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, and there was Fado performance in the restaurant at night. Porto isn't a big city, so we were able to walk to all the attractions.

The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming every day, and the breakfast team always greeted us with a friendly smile. Besides the standard breakfast items, they also offered several egg dishes, which was a nice touch. Our room was super comfortable, and the bed was so plush we just melted into sleep. We also had turn-down service every day, complete with two chocolates! We'd informed them beforehand that we were celebrating our anniversary, and the hotel surprised us with a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine – such a thoughtful gesture! You won't regret choosing this hotel if you're visiting Porto.

We had an amazing stay at GA Palace Hotel, truly one of the best hotels we’ve ever experienced — pure luxury from start to finish. We were kindly upgraded to a larger room with a balcony overlooking the beautiful Luís I Bridge. The room was spacious, with a huge bathroom, comfy slippers and bathrobes, and even a separate spa bag with towels and flip-flops. The hotel is spotless, gorgeously decorated, and the service is top level. Staff were friendly and very helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent — we especially loved the little smoothie shots. The spa area was clean and peaceful, with sauna, steam room, and indoor and outdoor pools. We only wished it stayed open later than 8pm, as it was the perfect rainy-evening escape. We’d definitely stay again when in Porto.

Everything was more than great ! From the fabulous welcome by Anais , to all other staff members) they really made their best. The suite was spacious and luxurious, the owner of the property clearly has good taste transforming this old property into a luxury boutique hotel ) The spa treatments were very good, The Italian restaurant simple but on point) I would give it a 9/10 , the check - in could have gone smoother , room service could be more attentive to client demands (when asking to remove an ingredient by example) I will definitely come back and try the best category of the hotel (master suite) Top
