The Log Porto Hotel by Piamonte Hotels

I found cockroaches in the room, and the key card was broken, making customers wait outside for half an hour. One of the female staff members had a very poor attitude towards Chinese guests. I do not recommend this hotel for Chinese people. There's no laundry room or gym, and most importantly, the hotel staff's attitude is terrible. They also wouldn't agree to a cancellation.

We stayed here after completing the Camino de Santiago with my child, during our trip to Porto. The location isn't in the city center, but the price is affordable. You can use the difference to pay for a Bolt, or buy a 5- or 10-ride public transport pass to explore and return in the evening. It was a good place to sleep. The nearby restaurants offer great value for money (the menu in the picture, including wine and coffee for 8.5 euros, seems like the best value in Europe!). The bus terminal was also easily accessible by a single bus ride (it took me 10 minutes in the morning). If you're an FC Porto fan, the fact that the football stadium is within walking distance is another plus. The Nata (custard tart) I had for breakfast was even better than expected! The only downside was that the single grocery store nearby closed early, making the evenings feel a bit empty.

It was great, excellent location, and the staff were well-mannered and helpful.

This is a new hotel, and all the facilities are quite new. However, it's really bizarre that there's no kettle in the room and no complimentary bottled water provided. I really don't understand why! There's a shopping mall a few minutes' walk away, but there isn't much to eat there either.

Incredible ambiance, this hotel is truly beautiful, modern, sustainable, and has so much style.
