My stay at Grande Hotel do Porto in Porto was truly wonderful. I fell in love with the beautiful historic architecture of the hotel—it gives the place so much character and charm. The reception team was warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. A special mention to the bellboy and the bartender, who were incredibly kind and helpful, going far beyond expectations to make our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was excellent, especially the delicious Pastéis de Nata, which was the perfect way to start the morning. Everything about the experience felt memorable and comfortable. I will definitely book here again on my next visit to Porto! Highly recommended 😊

Everything else was great, except for the incredibly loud floor noise from the wooden floors. The creaking of the floorboards was truly extraordinary. The convenient transportation, good service, and ample breakfast were all excellent. The noise, however, was a major issue.

Hotel is in the city center, surrounded by shops and restos (Majestic Cafe is very near). Hotel has old world vibes (especially the bar and lobby areas), but the rooms are small. Good continental breakfast.
