We paid for the early check in and the room is ready. The hotel receptionist is very helpful when we had some requests. The room is spacious and clean, provided towel, shampoo, hair dryer.

The hotel’s location isn’t ideal, though Porto’s city centre is compact, most major attractions are within a 15 minute walk, with the exception of Luís I Bridge, which is a bit further out. Rooms 001 and 003 are best avoided. Both are situated next to the staff storage room and near to the hotel lobby toilets as shown in the photos. Room 001 is a disabled access room very spacious, but without a bathtub. The bathroom is fitted with disability facilities. Good thing is the reception staff are very friendly.

The hotel isn't very central, but it was okay. I really missed having a fridge and more light; it was quite dim, and I couldn't see well enough to put on my makeup. They also didn't help me resolve an issue where my friend left a day early, but the extra night and breakfast had already been paid for. They told me I had to sort it out with the booking company, and Trip.com didn't help either, which I wasn't happy about.

The hotel is so convenient that the metro and downtown area can be reached by feet in few minutes.

Horrible service! Very arrogant staff, unmotivated, and low in empathy. I requested a room on a high floor because I'm claustrophobic, and they gave me the complete opposite: a cave that felt like a prison, absolutely terrible. I asked even to pay for a better room and always rude unfriendly with NO. The wardrobe wasn't a wardrobe at all; you couldn't even hang a shirt on it. I complained, and all they said that the hotel was full, even though we arrived at 4 pm and there were still people arriving after us. This arrogante rude two guys and one girl from reception promised to us to offer free breakfast the next day as an apology, but the breakfast staff rudely said they hadn't heard anything and that I still had to pay. The ruines our first weekend in Porto. Better look for a another company and read reviews. Chaotic, rude staff and bad rooms This hotel and stay company never again!

The location is super convenient, the room is spacious, and the service is very attentive. Highly recommended! It's perfectly situated for exploring the city, and there's a mini-shop nearby with delicious oranges.

Great stay at Stay Hotel Porto. I stayed here while visiting my niece on her Erasmus exchange. Perfect location in the city centre, clean and quiet room, and very friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommended!

The hotel's decor is stylish and comfortable, the staff are very friendly, and the management is efficient. The surrounding area is a bit of a downside; when you exit the subway, there are a few idle young people sitting by the stairs. Also, since the hotel faces a main street, you can't open the windows for ventilation. Other than that, everything was satisfactory.

Perfect for solo travelers, very clean and in a great location. The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating, even for a late-night check-in. It's close to all the main attractions, and the bathroom was spotless.

My room faced a multi-story car park, which kept it quiet as it was away from the main road. However, the hotel walls were quite thin, so I could clearly hear noise from next door. The facilities were good, and it was clean.

This hotel is located in the middle of the city and every attraction is around 15-20 mins of walk. You get the road view so in the night you can hear lot of noise even when window is closed. The room is quite small but it’s enough for the 2 people

Step Leo is very kind and nice. He knows well guest mind. Almost thing when I stay there are good for me. Just what you need now !
