Loch Eyre House

This B&B is beautifully set with stunning views over the water. We were lucky enough to see a golden eagle fly over too! Would definitely stay here again. The breakfast was ample to set you up for the day.

Our 5 night stay at Loch Eyre House was a breath of fresh air having just experienced two disappointing nights at an overpriced 4 star pod hotel. Comfortable, spacious and well provisioned room, excellent hospitality, delicious breakfast and a shared lounge area with magnificent views. It was a great place to come home to after busy days enjoying Skye and offered a comfortable space when we just wanted a couple of lazy, relaxing days doing nothing. David and Lynne went out of their way to make sure our stay was special and obviously take great pride in offering such a great guest house experience. Perfectly situated close to both Portree and Uig. Highly recommend.

Without doubt the best b&b we had on our west coast/ highlands trip. Comfortable rooms with separate breakfast and lounge rooms. Excellent breakfast with daily menu.

I had a solo visit to the Isle Of Skye last week and stayed at the Loch Eyre house, shephards hut. This accommodation surpassed my expectations in many ways. A cute cosy hut, plenty of room for one but definitely would comfortable fit two people. A wee selection of breakfast items provided daily with water and tea coffee. The hut is located beautifully with views of Loch Eyre ahead. Private bathroom on site where I personally felt secure to leave my toiletries in. Owners in hand via phone and message to get in touch. I have already spread my recommendations to my friends and will definitely return if I find myself away in that neck of the woods again. Thank you for your hospitality

Beautiful location halfway between Portree and Uig, perfect for exploring the Trotternish peninsula. The premises are spotless and in excellent condition. The hosts were very accommodating and personable. Breakfast was delicious. Note: if you do not have a car, transportation could be tricky. Nearest restaurants are 20 minutes away by vehicle. Would stay again. Highly recommend Loch Eyre House!

Loch Eye House has good and not so good points, hence rating of good. The view is beautiful, the lounge is lovely and the breakfasts are plentiful and good quality. On the downside other than the lounge and dining room the place looks a little tired and in need of some TLC. The walls are paper thin and the plumbing noisy which did not help with getting a good nights sleep. The lady who served breakfast (I assume the owner, she never said) was lovely and friendly and made you feel very welcome. I guess overall I was a little disappointed as for the price I was expecting more.
