Hotel Royal Positano Reviews

Room is clean but our room is on the 1st floor where the lobby is at 6th floor. Lifts are only operative from 3rd floor to 6th floor. There was staff to help bring luggages down to our room however not when we check out, so end up have to bring out luggages upstairs. Staff wasn’t very helpful, average. It takes about 20 mins to walk to the beach.

It was overall average experience . The service was goods but the breakfast had to b a good spread .. also no house slippers or body lotion in the room

Amazing accommodation. Beautiful friendly staff. Great food in restaurant & great breakfast. Rooms big clean & comfortable. Great water pressure in shower. The sea view rooms with balcony are spectacular and extra special at night. Bus stop right outside which takes you all the way down to town centre & then 5 min walk to beach & you take bus back up from same spot dropped you off all for $1.60 euros each way. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND & DEFINITELY GOING BACK!!

Amazing views right at the top of positano. Quite a walk to and from town. Hotel needs renovating but is very clean Pool is fantastic with huge sun lounging area Food is awful dont eat there make the most of the amazing restaurants like meditarraneo nearby

Location was a little further than expected and no basic amenities in room (kettle etc) but was overall a good stay :)

Good experinece great trip

The most terrible experience I had in italy, starting from the reception to the insects in the bed and the mouse poop in the bathroom. Zero amenities, staff extremely unprofessional. The hotel is old and I guess it was the hotel to be at in the old times,has a good view on positano but the service is so bad to a point where I have missed my ferry cz they haven't handled my bags to the porter although I have informed them in the morning before I went out that they are supposed to hand my bags to the porters, so I arrived to the port and my bags were not there so my ferry left and I had to pay a taxi 200 euros to take me to Napoli as this was this last ferry of the day.

Amazing location. Amazing view. Had a great pool. Staff was friendly and helpful! Rooms were cozy! Our breakfast was included and it was great, everything you need for a great breakfast

It’s a good location but go get to your room is a mission we had to take 2 lifts long corridor walks and steps to get to our room Bus stop right outside the hotel though which was great for getting down to the beach

This is a great hotel. The lobby service is very good, the breakfast is rich, the hotel is in a great location and has a beautiful environment. Parking is also convenient. Good reviews!

Due to the rain, the ferry from Naples to Positano was canceled early that day, so I couldn't visit. (The ferry from Sicily to Naples was operating normally, and even if you use roaming on the sea, you can't respond as quickly as on land.) When I tried to reserve public transportation on the day, Omi said there was no transportation other than car rental, and the taxi fare was about 250,000 won one way, so I gave up on going. It wasn't a simple change of heart, but a situation where I couldn't go due to bad weather, but the hotel only replied that they couldn't give refunds. Those who are going to Positano, please check the weather carefully and plan your itinerary.
