Seminaris SeeHotel Potsdam

The shower was extremely grimy and not clean. The room was very hot and we had no air conditioning or fan, and there was no fridge or minibar. Right outside our room was the roof of the dining hall and kitchen, and we could hear the noise quite loudly. The view was unfortunately not nice either, even though the hotel is located by the lake. External guests "occupied" the beach chairs and had parties. The room wasn't cleaned during our stay, and the beds were uncomfortable. The hotel should be "renovated and beautified".

The hotel is very well located and clean, but there are a few minor things to complain about. First, the cost for the underground parking is not stated anywhere, but it's €16 per night. If you want to use the swimming pool, it costs €10 regardless of when you go, and you can only book it for the whole day. Otherwise, the stay in Potsdam itself was very nice. Everything was easily accessible by public transport.

The hotel is very old and run down. There was a lot of noise at night due to constant train traffic. The breakfast buffet was very simple and poorly presented.

Price/performance is better than just "good". Delicious breakfast! Friendly staff. We've been there several times already and will definitely come back.

Great location, right on the water, which makes this hotel special. The reception was friendly. It was disappointing that we didn't get the room with a balcony that we booked, but that was due to Trip.com and not the hotel. The service at the hotel, especially in the bar in the evenings, was limited. The hotel was fully booked, and only one employee was managing the bar alone, with no table service, leading to a long queue. There were also waiting times at check-out. If you sat outside for breakfast, you had to clear your own dishes. The staff shortage seems to be a problem at this establishment too. Despite everything, we had a lovely stay and will definitely come back.

Unfortunately, we didn't get the room I booked. We received a standard room instead of a Superior Plus room with a balcony and garden or sea view 😔. When I inquired at the reception, the booked room was no longer available. As an apology, we received complimentary underground parking and free access to the spa area. 👍🏻

The room was tiny for 3 people. It looked much bigger in the pictures. We even had to remove the swing due to lack of space. The furniture is dated. No kettle, tea, coffee, etc., and no minibar. I wasn't happy with it. However, the staff were very friendly and accommodating after I complained. If I had paid €290 instead of €125, I would have left the hotel immediately. That's my opinion of the place. Everyone has to decide for themselves how they want to spend the night.

A very nice and clean hotel. The breakfast is really plentiful. The location is right by the lake. The only downside is that you have to pay extra for the pool and fitness facilities.

We visited Hotel Lot Baby and even specified our baby's age, but there was only a regular bed provided for the baby. Also, our room wasn't cleaned at all from Wednesday to Sunday. On Sunday morning, the breakfast buffet was incredibly crowded, so everything was constantly empty, and I had to wait a really long time for a bread roll because there weren't enough on the buffet.
