The staff are friendly and helpful. If you run into any trouble, even the other guests will jump in to help you out. The showers and toilets are perfectly fine. Of course, it’s not as spotless as a luxury hotel, but the staff clean thoroughly every morning and evening, which leaves a very good impression. One time, I accidentally put coins for the dryer into the laundry machine. When I asked the staff about it, they kindly covered the cost without showing the slightest annoyance. The money I put into the laundry machine couldn’t be retrieved, but they just laughed and said, “Well, someone’s got a free laundry then,” which really made me feel relieved. There are many female guests as well, so I’d recommend this place to anyone, regardless of gender.

Really enjoyed the location of this hostel and enjoyed our stay.

This is my first time at the original backpacker. Answer my phone call when I was late check-in, the guy was very polite. Reception - very friendly and helpful show me around. Location - convenience at King Cross with 2 supermarkets, food shop, shopping centre. Friendly roommates with all women. Other backpackers are very respectful. No noise after midnight. I'll be back😊

I was make really great experiences in here. Cheap price, nice people, free morning and 3 free diners fer week! The old facilities and the low cleanliness were a bit disappointing, but that were still great. Thanks

Beautiful atmosphere!

The room size is worth the price, the facilities are decent, and the main advantage is the excellent location of the hostel, which allows you to get to almost all the attractions within about 40 minutes.

I need a wheelchair because of a fracture. The hotel has good service, barrier-free access and various warm services. Good review!

Good location, just a 5 minute walk from Kingscross Station. I stayed in a room with 4 bunk beds lined up. I think it was a relatively nice place.

The atmosphere and service are very good. The hotel staff are very friendly and enthusiastic. The whole hotel has a good atmosphere. People are energetic. South American style. There will be South American music in the corridor and kitchen at night, and red wine will be opened. Summer beach style. The hotel is a little messy with some sundries. It is a little noisy outside the window when sleeping, but the atmosphere is good. It is near the subway entrance. I am still very satisfied.

I was there just to leave my luggage. The common space is small. Dinner is provided 3 times a week and they clean well, but the sheets are not changed well and there are too many cockroaches.

There was a restaurant nearby and it was so noisy at night that I couldn't sleep at all. The bath mat in the bathroom looked like it hadn't been changed for several days, and I really regretted that I should have brought my own bath mat. I had an early flight the next day, so my stay was short, but I don't think I'd like to stay any longer. There is no hair dryer, so you need to bring your own.
