Esplanade Hotel Prague Reviews

First visit to Prague and chosen this hotel for its location being near but not in the middle of the activities and it was the right choice.  Short walk to the old town and many good eateries.  Many bus routes to slightly further attractions and train station for even further afield.   Staffs were very friendly and helpful.  Breakfast was continental and Czech and were substantial.  The room was clean and quiet and bed comfortable.  Building itself was beautiful art deco and grand.  I enjoyed doing some reading or catching up on messages in the main lounge which was usually not busy and quiet.

Great location, just few minutes walk from main train stations. Fine decoration in room and public area. Excellent services in breakfast area, always refill coffee and food. The food quality is excellent. Highly recommended if you stay in Prague as the base to elsewhere of Czech by train.

The hotel is veey beautiful and the staff are lovely. However, it is a bit old and by today's standards it is nowhere near a 5-star hotel. The breakfast is very simple as well. More like a beautiful, historic, 3-star hotel.

Good location, historical building, quiet and spacious rooms.

Upon entering the hotel, they asked me some questions as if I were facing a passport officer: a passport number and a visa or residence number.

Nice hotel: Great location, particularly if you travel by train (2 minutes walking distance to Prague’s Central/Main Railway Station), a clean, quiet and comfortable room with a balcony and nice city view… The only disturbing/annoying issue is the relatively late opening of the breakfast restaurant. It opens 7:30 am (on working days), which is too late in case you have a business meeting or need to go to the airport.

Location is good enough, also staffs are friendly. The room are looks difference compared to photos, much older and small.
