Hermitage Hotel Prague

The hotel's location is acceptable, about a 3-5 minute walk from the station, so it's not too far. The front desk staff even thoughtfully asked if I needed a map and gave a brief introduction to the area.

The location is excellent, not far from the river, and just a few tram stops from major attractions. The room was very clean and serviced daily. The high ceilings in the room made it feel spacious, and the view from the window was great. The air conditioning was powerful and adjustable. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

This hotel is almost perfect, aside from the windows not opening fully. It's very close to the river, and there's a Chinese restaurant just a three-minute walk away where you can ask the owner for their secret menu. The rooms are spacious, breakfast is abundant, and the soundproofing is excellent. The only real issue I encountered was the Wi-Fi signal being a bit weak. I'm not sure if it was just my room or a general problem, but my laptop and phone would frequently disconnect and reconnect when I was at the desk. If I moved my laptop closer to the door, the Wi-Fi would be at full strength.

Getting to the hotel from the main train station wasn't as straightforward as the website suggested... but a €30 taxi ride got us there in the end. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful – a really positive first impression! Our room was exceptionally quiet, spacious, practical, and thanks to the air conditioning, perfectly temperate without any drafts. We were overwhelmed by the breakfast spread: very rich, nicely presented, and with good coffee. However, the dining area was far too cold for our liking and had music playing that was too loud and unpleasant. In the evenings, the bar staff were wonderfully attentive and served us with a friendly and cheerful demeanor. We also had dinner at the hotel one night: the food was delicious, and the wine was served at the perfect temperature. To top it all off, we even received a complimentary BECHEROVKA – wonderful! By the way, once you figure out the public transport system, the hotel's connections are excellent!
