The Gold Bank

Loved every minute of my stay! This hotel is such a gem! The decoration is gorgeous—so stylish and welcoming. The room was clean, the AC was GREAT, and the breakfast was tasty. The staff were l nice. Plus, the location is brilliant: right near the tram and just a stone's throw from the old town. A great choice if you want to explore the city easily.

Mixed feelings during this stay: Pro: - Great location if you travel by train, just footsteps from central station and old town - The entrance and lobby are beautiful - Frontdesk acts really good an efficient on problems during the stay, was wonderful! Cons during stay: - The first room had problem with airco, room temperature was over 30 degrees Celsius. We got instant another room so was managed very quickly. - The shower wall was leaking so when showering the bathroom floor was completely wet - Cleaning was “so/so”, bathroom floor was never cleaned and second day forgot towels and toilet paper. Towels had stripes and holes in it. - Bread at breakfast had bake off breadrolls which they did not proper bake-off so the are white and very dry. If you are a bread lover I recommend not to add breakfast and dine at the lovely bakeries. So mixed feelings with the stay. Had a quite comfortable stay but for the price we paid we had to many difficulties.

The location is perfect, being very close to both the central station and the old town. The breakfast was excellent, the bed was highly comfortable, and both the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. However, the room itself was extremely tiny, making it difficult to move around easily. There was no table, and the TV was poorly positioned, so we kept bumping into it. The bathroom, while clean, was also very cramped. Overall, it is a good place to stay, but I highly recommend booking a larger room category .

Nice hotel with good shower pressure. About a 15min walk to the old down though. Amenities could be better. Only provided water for the first day.

The hotel staff were friendly and helped to check us in early. The hotel's location is also within walking distance from the train station and other attractions. Plenty of food nearby . The breakfast was also one of the good hotel breakfasts we had while in EU. Overall cost of the hotel and location is value for money.

The hotel overall is really good! Good location, friendly staff, luggage service, beautiful lobby! One interesting thing is that, I had a two people room for one night, and a four people room for two nights, turned out that the two people room is much bigger than the four people room. But still everything thing is fine and comfortable! Highly recommended.
