Hotel le Duc de Praslin

Outstanding resort… immaculate, modern, chic, and beautifully situated on a soft white stretch of Côte d'Or . Our group spent 5 days on Sillhouette Island (Hilton Labriz), then ferried over to LaDigue for 3 days at LaDigue Island Lodge. We wrapped up our trip with 2 nights on Praslin and stayed at Le Duc de Praslin. All six of us concluded, that we should’ve just stayed for the entire 10 days at Le Duc de Praslin— it was that good!! We will DEFINITELY be coming back to this resort!!

Nice resort with ambience. Some rooms are closer to beach and other rooms are small walk away. Nice breakfast and elaborate dinner buffet. Really enjoyed the stay food and the beach. Had lunch from the beach side restaurant as well, didnt disappoint either. Highly recommend this place.

We had an excellent time at the Hotel le Duc de Praslin and can highly recommend this hotel. The staff were always super friendly and courteous and looked after us at all times. Special thanks to the hotel staff who took care of the massages. It was a wonderful experience! The hotel is in an excellent location, right on the beach, which makes it perfect for a relaxing holiday. For those who like sports, there is a first class gym equipped with everything an athlete needs. The restaurant is first class - there is always fresh and varied food. We enjoyed every meal. Overall, our stay at Hotel le Duc de Praslin was just perfect. We would love to come back!

We had a really nice experience in Le Duc recently and the food was fantastic. Specially need to mention Mr. Saman who served us very friendly and his service was excellent. We will definitely visit this place again… thanks Saman and all staff.

The buffet of this hotel is very good quality with many different options! The rooms are very clean and spacious but the wifi is terrible at any spot of the hotel. The hotel beach is very quiet, ideal for families I would say. Use repellent as I got many sand-flies bites and are super itchy for many, many days. If you need to get a shower after checking out, they offer you a shower room and storage room for luggage (all included).

Upon our arrival in Praslin our tour package company, Creole, (who also met us at the international airport when we first arrived and would be with us every step of the way = outstanding customer service!) escorted us to our waiting driver who zipped us to the Le Duc de Praslin. The hotel should first be noted for its cleanliness and attention to detail. But more importantly, was the customer service. This would be a theme throughout our stay in the Seychelles – everyone is genuinely friendly and really works to be helpful and accommodating. The staff at this hotel was truly lovely. From the waitstaff in the restaurant (Silva the waiter, et al), to simply chatting with the female gardener/groundskeeper (she does an AMAZING job keeping everything on the hotel grounds trimmed, neat, and lush – so much work but yet so noticeable as well), everyone was genuinely engaging and happy to just chat with the guests. When my wife lost her cell phone (not at the hotel but while we are out of an excursion), the desk personnel, Hilda, coordinated with our Creole rep, and was able to locate the phone and have returned in less than 24 hours! A miracle – but also a shining example of the level of customer service which the hotel prides itself on. The food was excellent! Fresh and varied. During one night at dinner, the owner of the hotel actually came around to every table to chat with the guests. His attentions was appreciated. Something else to note is the hotel's attention to the details making you feel appreciated --- greeting with refreshments, fruit platter, a bottle of wine, coffee, and fresh flowers left in the our room as a welcome gift. The hotel is about a five minute (depending on which room you are staying in) to their little beach. It is easy to get to and just relax. It never seemed crowded or loud. Life definitely works at a different speed in the Seychelles (too hot and humid to move fast!) and that is a good thing when you are there to get away from the hustle and bustle. If the beach isn’t your thing, the hotel has two (smallish) pools. It should be noted that one is “adults only” which is sort of a nice thing as well. We had an amazing stay at the Le Duc de Praslin, and highly recommend it

Our stay at Le Duc de Praslin was simply unforgettable. This hotel exceeded all our expectations and provided us with a paradise-like vacation. Here are the highlights that made our stay so special: **Pool** The pool area of the hotel is simply stunning. The spacious lounging areas invite you to relax, and the crystal-clear water offers perfect refreshment. Especially in the evening, when the lights come on, it creates a magical atmosphere. **Ocean** The hotel's location directly by the ocean is unbeatable. The private beach with its white sand and turquoise water is a dream come true. The sound of the waves and the view of the endless sea provide pure relaxation. **Service** The service at Le Duc de Praslin is top-notch. The entire team is extremely attentive and always strives to fulfill all wishes. We would like to especially commend Maheez, De Silva, Mohammad, Samantha, and Tania, whose friendliness and professionalism made our stay so special. **Food (special highlight)** The culinary offerings at Le Duc de Praslin are an absolute highlight. The variety and quality of the food impressed us daily. Especially the dinners with fresh seafood and local specialties were a culinary delight like no other. A special thanks to the chefs who pampered us with their creations. **Rooms** Our rooms were spacious, modernly furnished, and offered a breathtaking view into the beautiful garden. The cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms were impeccable, making our stay even more pleasant. We felt like we were in our own little paradise. **Fitness Studio** The fitness studio at Le Duc de Praslin is well-equipped and offers everything you need for a good workout. The modern equipment and pleasant atmosphere motivated us to stay fit even on vacation. **Hotel Maintenance and Grounds** The entire hotel grounds are excellently maintained. The tropical garden with its exotic plants and flowers is a true feast for the eyes. It was a pleasure to stroll through the well-kept paths and enjoy the beauty of nature. Overall, our stay at Le Duc de Praslin was an absolute dream. The hotel convinced us with its first-class service, luxurious amenities, and paradise-like surroundings. We will definitely come back!
