The Bridge

Karan made the best cocktails we’ve had for a long time! The mojitos were spot on. Lovely relaxed ambience with live music and friendly, helpful staff. Would definitely recommend for an evening with friends, or a chilled date night. Great place for an evening in Prestbury.

Very enjoyable and relaxing stay at the bridge. Staff very welcoming and friendly. The room was okay, but very relaxing listening to the river Bollin flowing outside the window. Food was excellent, fresh, tasty and great amount of food. The service was perfect, special thanks to Karan. The full English breakfast was perfect In the morning. Will definitely return in the future.

Excellent staff service food was amazing friendly atmosphere beautiful rooms and bar could not fault anything we had a lovely stay. Parking facilities home cooked breakfast Cannot fault this hotel at all lovely place to stay

Great food, we ordered ceasar salad, king prawn spaghetti and skin on chicken breast. Karan is good at briefing beers/ food for us. He's nice to our dog. We would definitely recommend this hotel and restaurant to friends. We enjoy the meal and the atmosphere here.

I cannot fault this hotel, the room was lovely, so clean and fresh. The food was lovely, freshly cooked and hot on arrival. We brought our dogs with us and it was a last minute choice. One which was worth it. A little pricy on drinks buy in line with the crea. Thanks to all for the great service. Unfortunately both nights we were woken by the fire alarm but I was able to return to sleep OK.

A lovely Easter break at this quaint hotel in this pretty Cheshire village . Had a fabulous room with 4 poster bed and a freestanding bath tub. We ate in the restaurant the food was excellent. The staff were really good and very friendly .We had a lovely walk up to White Nancy in Kerridge where the views were amazing . Plenty to do and visit in the area .

We had a voucher as a recent wedding gift so booked the bridge for one night. I only booked the day before. I should have read more reviews as others have pointed the issue out previously. The Bridge misleads you into thinking all the bedrooms are the nicely furnished bedrooms. This isn't the case. We were located in the 1970's part of the building. I returned to the reception area and spoke with Chloe who was extremely polite and lovely but informed me they were fully booked when I shared my disappointment at the room and asked to be moved. We were offered a complimentary drink, which I accepted. Prestbury is a cute place with lovely other bars and pubs we went to as we didn't want to stay immediately at the bridge because of our disappointment. We later returned for our evening meal. WAW, this was amazing. The flavours and quality of the food was fantastic. Staff were attentive and friendly. Breakfast was similar with loads of choices and tasty, with staff yet again friendly and attentive. The Bridge could be amazing and I would definitely recommend if you are guaranteed the rooms that are advertised!

We had a late lunch at the Bridge to celebrate my mum’s 80th (she was born in Prestbury and used to come to the restaurant with our late dad for special occasions). The service and meal were spot on: we weren’t rushed, the portions were perfectly sized and delicious. In my booking I’d said it was for her birthday and Cherissa, our lovely waitress, brought out a beautifully decorated dessert for her with a chocolate piped message and candles. Thank you! We’ll be back for her 81st!

Visited for one night. Restaurant and pub area lovely. Check in not great - someone sat on a stool hidden behind a wall which is strange. Never given any information on what time breakfast was or where the bar was, check out times, opening hours etc. Not the most pleasant welcome either. Rooms very dated and didn’t smell the freshest. Old dated furniture and curtains. Seemed clean enough. Very old clown picture on the wall in the room from the 1980s which really doesn’t belong in a hotel room - terrified me in the night when it fell down. Thin walls and you can hear everything in room next door. Car park free. Breakfast ok but not amazing. Not sure the hotel price reflects the standard of rooms
