Booked a double room and was upgraded to a king room. Room was clean however bathroom was a bit tired and small. Reception available 24/7 and staff were friendly.

Every thing was good, unless you have to pay 20$ for parking.

This room was advertised at $157, but as I pressed to book it, the page flashed and updated to $174, which was not what I was really wanting to pay... disappointing Snaptravel/Trip.com! I decided to go ahead as the hotel was advertised as opened 2022 and renovated 2022. This was the reason I booked it. Neither of these pieces of information is accurate. This was a Mantra hotel and has been rebranded a Novotel Hotel (owned by the same group) in 2022. The room I stayed in has not been renovated and the hallways were drab and gloomy. On the surface, the room looked clean, but there was a greasy patch on the bench where you make coffee, fingermarks all round the bathroom door, hair on the bathroom floor, caked soap on the pole supporting the shower heads, the floor tiles were all chipped and pock-marked and the main room mirror was tired, patina'd with lots of dull, brown areas, and had sections of milkiness covered with lots of 'cleaning' scratches. The cafe is not open on the weekends (and is certainly NOT a restaurant!) and you have to walk across the car park to another of their hotels next door to get a coffee. On the plus side, the staff were super friendly and helpful, the bed was very comfortable, the tv was great and the room was very spacious. $174 worth though... no way! I have stayed at another Novotel in the last 12 mths or so for $50 less and it was immaculate.

I booked Superior King Room, abs there was no water in the room. We ordered for wine glasses that never came and they didn’t have wine opener either. No toothpaste. Very disappointed with the service.

Staff very inflexible on late check out

It was a bit of an unexpected surprise. I originally stayed in a suite for a few days. I thought it was small and cramped. I didn't expect it to be quite big. There is also a microwave for cooking. It is a little far away. It is a little inconvenient to go home every day. It is 700 kilometers away from the subway station. meters, 300 meters away from the bus station, but the bus is not very stable.

Convenient transportation and beautiful scenery

Checkin and admin staff are great no issue there Housekeeping didn’t replace towels or coffee sugar Breakfast was included but I get picked up for work at 7 and breakfast only starts at 7. Sure there are others that stay here that head to work early also - no option for food at that time - every other hotel I stay at for work has breakfast from 6.30am

Good size room and comfortable, room oddly contained an oven but no oven mitts etc. so difficult to use. Would be nice to have some vending machines or similar in the building as there are no convenience stores nearby, if getting in late there are no food options as room service ends before 10pm.

Booked for 2 nights. 29th Jan, and 30th Jan - leaving on the 31st Jan. Arrived at 3am on the 30th (3 hours past midnight on the day of the first night I had booked being the 29th. Told by rude staff lady working that the system had no rooms available. Which I found hard to believe seeing as there are over 350 rooms and it was a Monday. Arrived back as requested on 3pm on the 30th to find out I have been blacklisted. Thanks for the fantastic stay

The property was very quiet & nice & clean. It was useful having the restaurant next door.

Great stay again. Comfortable bed and bedding. Room with everything I needed. Quiet. Convenient location for trains and trams. Will return.

Very clean and bright first impression...to be able to check in late was a bonus... The check in was very pleasant and took no time at all... My partner & I enjoyed our stay that much we booked another night...we requested a late check out thinking only one hour extra but was given 2 hours extra... Definitely we will stay at the Novotel Preston again
