Seoul Hotels with Private Pools

"Located in the Dongdaemun district, the hotel is just a minute’s walk from a nearby seafood market & across Travelodge hotel. The surrounding neighborhood has a few eateries and attractions, but it requires some walking to reach Dongdaemun History & Culture Park. The stretch from Euljiro 4(sa)-ga Station to the hotel is lined with shops selling doors, faucets, and other household items, along with the usual convenience stores like CU, GS25, and 7-Eleven. Myeongdong is fairly close—just two train stops away (a 5–6 minute ride). Bringing luggage can be challenging due to the lack of escalators in the station and the approximately 10-minute walk to the hotel. However, we found exits 7 and 8 particularly useful, as they remain underground, providing shelter from rain or snow, and lead to street level with less than a one-minute walk to the hotel. The hotel was overall clean. Although it was supposed to be spring during our stay, the weather was highly unpredictable, with temperatures ranging from 1°C to 10°C. The AC control was a bit confusing—while the translation was understandable, only hot air came out regardless of the temperature setting. After contacting hotel management via WhatsApp, we learned that during winter or cold weather, only the heater function is available, so we had to open the windows slightly to regulate the temperature. The hotel provides UK-style sockets, and the toilet seats are heated (a nice touch!), but the bidet function wasn’t fully operational—only the female bidet setting worked, so adjustments were needed. The tea was particularly good, and they replenished it daily, except on our last day when they didn’t provide more. Laundry is available above the 8th floor, with 2 washing machines & 2 dryers. Both machines requires 1000 Won coins & a machine to change paper notes. Staff are available from 9 AM to 11 PM, so plan accordingly. For assistance or information outside these hours, you can contact them via WhatsApp, Line, or KakaoTalk. Overall we had a good stay, clean, friendly & helpful staff. Locality was ok but if you want instant access to eateries & other POIs maybe you’ll want to reconsider."

"Very new and modern hotel, rooms are clean and pleasant and easy access to local transportation. Breakfast is expensive, but there are lots of coffee shops in the area as an alternative."

"I thought it would be great considering the price plus I've stayed there before in mainland China. But I was a little disappointed. Although the facilities are maintained, you can tell they are old. Especially the shower water is sometimes hot and sometimes cold... I was a little dumbfounded how could there be such a problem. For breakfast, if you are staying for several days, I suggest you don't buy it every day because there are only four sets to choose from. But they are very exquisite~ and delicious. The overall service is great, nothing to complain about. Especially the front desk lady is super good. She helped me call a taxi. I needed to change the address temporarily and she ran out to confirm with the driver. It's great. The attitude is also very good. There are people to help with luggage when getting on and off the car👍🏻👍🏻"

"I stayed at this place with 3 other girlfriends. Everything was fine and dandy until the morning of our 3 day staying there. Right when we were getting ready to head out, a man opened the door and was taking his shoes off in our room. In shock, one of my friend greeted him thinking he was a housekeeping staff. He looked equally shocked seeing us in the room. Then he apologised and quickly put his shoes on n headed back out to the elevator. My friend asked him if he works at the hotel he says he is staying on the 10th floor. We proceeded to head to front desk to inform them of what just happened. The two female staff just kept talking to each other in Korean and I heard the word ‘master’ in English. I’m wondering if they had programmed his key as a masters key. I have absolutely no clue why or how it happened and they didn’t even try to explain just apologized and offered us 2 bath bombs. I asked them to get back to us on what exactly happened as there is only one unit per floor and who that person is. Didn’t hear back from them. Just saw 2 bath bombs in our room that evening. Even during check out they never explained to me what happened that morning. Security: zero stars"

"도심지에 있어서 접근성이 용이하고 주변 식당가도 많아서 먹는거 걱정하지않아도 되네요. 양치도구, 샤워타월이 지급되지않으니 챙겨가셔야합니다! 숙소안에 일회용품자판기 없으니 챙기시구(바로앞 편의점 있음) 전국적으로 산불이 나서 입실이 힘든 상황이었는데 선뜻 무료취소 도와주신다고 하여 CS에 감동했습니다~ 직접적인 피해 이재민은 아니지만 지원근무를 나가야해서 애매하던 상황이었는데 친절함에 감동했습니다! 입실까지 9번에 가까운 통화로 체크인 도와주셨고 체크인시간이 늦으니 문자로 안내도와주셨네요"

"First of all, the hotel's sophisticated and clean atmosphere made me feel great. The room was spacious and bright, and it was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, making it a comfortable stay. The bathroom was especially clean, with separate shower and dry areas, which was a real treat! The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made it comfortable. The bed and bedding were so comfortable, I slept soundly. The location was perfect, making it easy to get around! The best part was how well-maintained the place was, which made my stay feel safe and secure. I would definitely come back!"

"Stayed just one night but it was such a good experience! Checked in around 11pm and the staff at the counter was very polite and helpful. The room was just like the photos, with a washer and kitchenette area but without a kitchen sink. There was also a small yard area where the wardrobe was located. The room was not large but had everything we needed. The surrounding area had food stalls and fruit stores, and the subway escalator exit was just a minute walk away from the hotel. Really enjoyed our short stay and we recommend this hotel!"

"It's clean considering how old it is. The amenities are more complete than others, and YouTube and Netflix are available. The toilet and shower are separate, but they're only separated by a sheet of glass, so the shower water flows down from the bottom into the toilet, but it's better than getting the toilet soaked. It's close to the station, and there are convenience stores, cafes, and 24-hour restaurants around the hotel, so you won't have any trouble finding food. I stayed there for a performance at the KSPO Dome, and it's nice that you can get there in about 15 minutes without having to transfer."

"Overall service was okay, check-in and out was easy, staff was polite. Ground floor has a food bar but with the basics including bread and jam, water and microwave, it was not bad. Coming back during a late night might may not give a good impression as the light are either dimmed or switched off, staff will not be there 24hrs, which did not feel safe. For the room, the space was surprisingly small and tight, i stayed for 2 nights with my other frd, we did not have the space to open up the luggage on the floor, so it was quite inconvenient. What makes it worse is the only long table was occupied with 2 old desktops, which are dusty and dirty. Luckily the tv is a smart tv and working okay. The size of the bed was enough for 2 of us, but some uncleanable patterns were spotted on the bed sheet, which made it uncomfortable to sleep in. Toilet has a huge sink but the faucet was installed to the very right corner of the sink, which is a very stupid and inconvenient desgin. Tooth brush/paste are missing, so we had to buy from convenient store. Soap was a small and cheap one, and basic shampoo, body wash and conditioner are there for use. Stable warm water for shower but a curtain could be installed to cover up the splashing of the water to everywhere. What surprised me is the floor is heated, so you wont be having cold feet during this cold weather in Seoul, it could be cleaner. What makes it strange is theres a big piece of mirror on the ceiling above the bed, not sure whats the use of it, but i guess its okay. Overall, the experience was not bad but not good either."

"서울에서 찾아보기 힘든 일본식 호텔이라 예약했었는데 기대이상으로 너무 잘 즐기다가 가요 넘 편안했고 욕조도 두명이 들어가기에 넉넉했고 빔프로젝터도 따로 연결없이 바로 티비가 켜지고 넷플도되고 쿵푸4 재밌게 봤네요 다음에 서울 방문할때 또 이용하도록 할께요 ㅎㅎ 많은분들이 아셔서 오셨으면 좋겠네요 청결도 bbb"
