Doha Hotels with Private Pools

"Staying at Best Western Plus Doha hotel was an amazing experience. The staff was so kind, helpful and cooperative. The room was much better than I expected and so big. The amenities were perfect. I found all what I was expecting. Also when I asked for a hair dryer, they brought it shortly. The place is about 1 km away from Souq Waqif metro station, so about 15 minutes of walking. I am so happy, and if I go to Qatar again, I would probably choose the same hotel."

"The problem with the hotel is that young people gather in the coffee shop inside the hotel and in the evening they are outside watching TV and smoking and the biggest problem is that there are no parking spaces because of the coffee shop patrons. For your information and to note that most of the positive comments about the hotel are from the patrons of this coffee shop and the hotel workers or those cooperating with the hotel. Also, parking is prohibited in front of the hotel entrance by order of the hotel guards and their psychology, knowing that there are 5 empty parking spaces in front of the hotel."

"The doorman and the porter were very nice. There is a car museum next to the hotel, which is said to have many retro cars. The road to the hotel is not very popular, and the hotel is very quiet and suitable for rest. Takeaways will be delivered to the floor. The room was booked as a suite, but the actual space and configuration were more like a king-size bed room, for reference. The service was good, but the overall staff felt insufficient. The Hilton that I booked in advance on Ctrip was not notified until the day before check-in that the overbooked order was cancelled. During the season, the hotel doubled and was full everywhere. I increased the price a lot and booked this Marriott-owned hotel instead. For guests who booked at normal prices, the hotel is not bad for the price. The hotel design is more local, and the lobby and corridors are carefully decorated."

"The hotel was fantastic, especially because of the wonderful receptionist team. The hospitality and the way the staff treated us were truly exceptional. At the reception, an African gentleman who spoke English fluently assisted me with checking into my room. He truly deserves recognition. He greeted me warmly, attended to my needs thoughtfully, and interacted with me as if we had known each other for years."

"I booked it for a colleague and everyone said it was OK. The bed wasn't very big, but the bedding was okay to sleep on. The bathtub was very comfortable and the apples in the room were delicious."

It was the first time I lived on an island in my life. Perfect experience. The service was also great. WeChat reminded me that the [direct light] at the head of the bed has no on/off button. It is pressed. Just press its [light] with your thumb, and the light will go out."

"Beautiful location near Old Doha Port. Delicious dinner and breakfast services. We received a lovely welcome message for the children with cookies to decorate. Beach view rooms were stunning. However, deluxe twin room had two small single beds, not really enough for family of three. Mr Rafiq was particularly attentive to our needs and asked after our preferences throughout our stay. Mr Ahmed was extremely helpful and kind towards the children during dinner and breakfast service. All the hotel staff were very welcoming. The Spa has a ladies only area, but staff did not really explain what facilities and services were available. The ladies changing room was not really well stocked with amenities, although staff kindly provided any items asked for. Lovely family hotel overall. Worth a visit at least once if staying in Old Doha Port. Watch out for busy traffic in this neighbourhood and not many grocery shops nearby."
