I have to tell you how extremely disappointed my wife and I were with our time at your guest house. Now I understand why you require payment in full before arrival and do not accept credit cards like every other facility. I can't imagine how you ever received a 9+ rating Superb! and take offense with your carefully edited photographs. I have traveled more than 40 years internationally and my wife and I travel frequently. This is the poorest accomodatioon we have every stayed at. In every category the property is below sub-standard from physical condition of the property, repairs, paint, electrical outlets and plumbing, doors with out handles! Dirty, old, used bed linens, ancient furniture, second hand table, one chair, no wifi next to the bed, discount store bath soap and shampoo, hygenic sandpaper. Could things possible be lower grade or cheaper?! 24 hours without hot water when it's 10-20' outside and no one tells us anything! The bathroom facility was 35 years old and we were told we would have to pay for cleaning. We booked 9 nights! No towel change, no linen change and a mediocre, sub-par breakfast, plastic bag toast, 6 slices of banana, 3 slices of apple, 2 slices of kiwi, poor juice. Wow! At these prices!!! Ridiculous! Also, check your beds, we found the bed bugs waking up after 3 days. We had to leave! We sometimes stay at historic, well preserved guest houses because of the charm and ambience they can have. Casona has neither. It is an old, run down, decrepit building in desperate and dire need of repair, restoration and renewal. Please let me hear your response as to our refund for the unstayed days.
