We enjoyed a wonderful 4-day stay at the Dimora Cordero in Priocca, Italy. It is an impeccably clean and excellent managed inn. There are six rooms that are very large, king sized beds, beautiful linen, towels and other amenities. The bathroom is above and beyond great. Our room seven had an upstairs private sauna and a beautiful patio area to sit and view the gorgeous countryside in Piemonte. The daily breakfast is unbelievable. Cappuccino, juices, cakes, meats and cheeses, yogurt, croissants....even eggs to order if you wish. The patio area where breakfast is served is a perfect spot to begin your day. From Priocca we visited Turin on two occasions and of course the small wine region villages including Barbaresco, Barolo, Nieve and others. Priocca is a very small village, but it also has a Michelin 1-star restaurant approximately 50 meters from the Dimora Cordero. The owners of the inn also own the restaurant. We enjoyed a fine dining experience there on our second night at Dimora. Francesca who seems to "run the place" is fantastic. Beyond the check in process, she provides advice on places to visit, even handles breakfast...she really keeps the Dimora humming. On a related note, since we had an early flight from Turin we needed to leave very early in the morning. Francesca prepared a "take-out" breakfast for us that she placed in our refreigerator in our room. It's little things like that combined with the overall quality of this inn that make it so special. On our next visit to Piemonte, there is not doubt the Dimora will be our place to stay.
