I’ve got to say we were delightfully surprised by this hotel. We booked this place as it was nearby to where we booked our wedding. Travelling with my now husband and our nearly 2 year old. From the minute of walking through the doors we saw how truly nice and special this place was. We just booked a standard room, we were located on the ground floor and the room was a lot bigger than we expected. It was nice and peaceful even being so close to reception in room 112. It was clean, comfortable, well air conditioned. Was just what we needed. We had breakfast included in our price which was continental but had scrambled eggs, bacon, range of cheeses and meats including ricotta. Cereals, pasties and cakes all of the above was of a great standard. You could eat inside or out. The staff in the dining room are even better, gianluca, Gianfrano the waiters and the manager fabrizio. And a lovely lady with short dark hair was amazing with our son, They really made us feel welcome and special, they couldn’t do enough for us. So professional and friendly. We also spent an evening in the restaurant which the food was fantastic. Again great service here too! The beautiful garden and surroundings of the hotel are so picturesque. Nice big pool area including a kids pool. We also spent some time down by the beach bar which was relaxing and I have to mention how lovely the ladies down at the reception area of the beach/shop. Giulia and Maria, so lovely, friendly and helpful. The lobby bar was brilliant Adriano made us feel right at home, so friendly, welcoming and looked after our son if we needed milk warming up, no matter what time of day. The shuttle service from this hotel is fantastic, you pre book your shuttle up and down from Taormina. It’s free too! We loved Salvatore! He made us smile, he was lovely, helpful and genuine. We miss him already!! I have to say, the staff here are a real main reason we would want to come stay again. We live in Sheffield in England but my new husband is originally from Catania, we normally would stay with family but after this trip I know we will be back. Don’t waste any more money staying anywhere else, this hotel offers everything you want and need. Thank you for having us Hotel Caparena! See you again one day I’m sure! This hotel is a joke. A very bad joke. If you want to waste your hard earned money and ruin your family vacation then this is the place to be, look no further. But if you want to have a nice place to stay and have a good vacation please stay away this rathole. This ”hotel” is something left behind by a long gone era maybe it was good during Mussolini and his era, but ín 2023 it is definitely an absurd very bad joke, a real rathole. The building itself is an old rundown place with very old, broken furniture, not functioning air condition and plumbing system. The air conditioner was at least 20 years old, making loud noise without any cooling effect. A real piece of junk. There was no adequate water pressure so showering was a challenge except you enjoy showering ín cold water only. But the hotel' s main ”attraction” was the restaurant. Now this is the most horrid place I have ever been. The food was terrible, impossible to eat, the portions were ridicoulosly small and the waiters were from a long gone Era As well. They were chatting all the time instead of working so we always had to wait forever to get our disgusting meal, which we couldn't eat anyway. We left the restaurant with an empty stomach on most days. All ín all Hotel San Pietro ín Letojanni should be closed forever ín the benefit of mankind. Please stay away if you want good for yourself and your family!

Nice room next to the supermarket

Paolo Bertocchi5/5un attimo fa su  Google Santo e la moglie sono due persone eccezionali...si vede che gestire un B&B per loro non è solo un business ma soprattutto una passione. La struttura è in zona centrale a Milazzo, con un comodo garage che vi risparmia il pagamento del parcheggio a bordo strada e magari anche qualche riga sulle fiancate vista la guida ”estrosa” della maggior parte dei siciliani.. Le stanze sono dotate di tutti i comfort, a partire da un comodo letto, TV, armadio per riporre i vestiti, bicchieri in vetro, il bagno con bidet e comoda doccia, asciugacapelli e set di 3 asciugamani. Il condizionatore è di eccellente qualità. La colazione è a buffet, sia dolce che salata, e si consuma in camera. Da sogno i panzerotti alla ricotta! Da notare che ciò che avanza dalla colazione viene lasciato a disposizione degli ospiti fino a sera per un eventuale spuntino, perché ogni mattina vengono forniti prodotti freschi. Il tutto gestito con domotica installata da Santo. Direi ottima struttura. È stato un piacere soggiornare da voi.
