Pu'er Deting Hotel (Chashan Branch)

Location: Great location, about a ten-minute drive from the high-speed train station, close to the city center, and surrounded by cafes, which is very convenient. The breakfast dining area is also lovely, with a tropical rainforest vibe. Service: The service is exceptionally attentive. Every staff member greets you, and they are all very polite. Facilities: The room isn't huge, but the facilities are complete, and there's even a makeup mirror, which is a big plus. We bought breakfast and got lunch and supper included, which is incredible value for money. The only downside is that the breakfast selection is a bit limited and lacks unique local dishes.

Booked two nights here just to try it out, and what a wonderful surprise! First off, the place is incredibly clean and hygienic. Every staff member is super friendly, always smiling and greeting guests proactively. The food at the restaurant is delicious too. On rainy days, there's even a play area for kids, so we didn't have to stay cooped up in the room. It's really family-friendly, especially for those traveling with children. All in all, a solid five stars!

I stayed at the Deting Hotel Chashan Branch in Pu'er for two days and had a wonderful experience. The hotel facilities are brand new and incredibly clean. All the staff members are exceptionally welcoming; no matter where you encounter them, they greet you with great enthusiasm. The hotel breakfast is also very extensive, with food freshly prepared daily and tasting delicious. The hotel offers a complimentary laundry service, which is a huge convenience for guests like us who are traveling for extended periods. Behind the hotel, there's a free tea house and a simulated rainforest with a coffee shop, where spending an evening is incredibly pleasant. Overall, it's an excellent hotel, and I especially appreciate the staff's warm hospitality. I apologize for not taking many photos of the hotel; I only have one of the coffee shop inside the rainforest 😊

I chose the Deting Tea Mountain store for my trip to Pu'er this time, and my stay experience directly exceeded my expectations! The hotel is located at the foot of the tea mountain, and as soon as you enter, the air is filled with a faint tea fragrance. The courtyard is full of green plants, quiet and healing. The room space is spacious and clean, with lush greenery outside the floor-to-ceiling windows, and a small tea table is also provided. It's especially pleasant to brew a pot of Pu'er tea in your leisure time. The entire room is intelligently controlled, with a smart toilet and a large bathtub. The bedding is soft, and the soundproofing is excellent, so I slept very soundly at night. The staff were attentive and proactively helped with luggage. The breakfast variety was rich, and the local bean soup rice noodles tasted authentic. There was also a free mini-bar with drinks, and laundry and drying services. The overall facilities are complete, and it's a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. It's perfect for a vacation in Pu'er, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

Excellent service! Three meals are included and you can basically eat anytime, which is great for saving money, hassle-free, and clean. I overheard a guest telling a server during a meal, "This place is wonderful, just like home." The server, with a big smile, replied, "Exactly, that's what we aim for!" It's rare for a hotel to receive such feedback from a guest. One downside is that since it's newly opened, there's still a slight smell in the rooms, and construction noise starts quite early in the morning, which can be pretty loud. I hope they can improve this. The twin room is also perfect for families with kids, as it has L-shaped bed rails. And the Peppa Pig tableware absolutely captivated the little ones' hearts! ❤️

1. I booked a rainforest king room, but upon check-in, the front desk claimed they were upgrading our room. In reality, they gave us a room facing a residential building, with the door directly opposite a staff work area. 2. When I asked the front desk to change rooms, the new room still faced a residential building. Since it was late when we arrived in Pu'er, I didn't press the issue. The next day, when extending our stay, I specifically asked the staff to change the duvet cover, bed sheets, and pillowcases. However, upon returning, I found the pillowcases hadn't been changed. 3. This hotel is really hyped up online, but honestly, it's just average. Especially the brunch and late-night snacks – they're all the same. 4. The rainforest landscaping downstairs wasn't fully completed. The coffee was very mediocre, tasting as rough as something from an automatic coffee machine. On the second evening, while relaxing downstairs, several children were making a lot of noise, swearing, and using a fishing net to catch fish, trampling on the lawn and moss. No one stopped them the entire time, which made for an extremely poor experience.

Unexpectedly good! The location is convenient, right next to Judian Coffee Shop. The hotel is very new, and the rainforest landscaping in the public areas is unique, plus you can enjoy specialty pour-over coffee. The room decor is stylish and well-laid out, quite spacious, and the cleanliness is good. The amenities provided are thoughtful. Although the breakfast selection isn't vast, it's exquisite and even includes Pu'er's special peanut soup with rice noodles. My only complaint is that the bath towels shed lint, otherwise, everything else was perfect!
