Hostal Sueños Silvestres

I paid a discounted rate on Trip.com, but the hotel asked me for the difference in price before the discount.

Very friendly environment, clean place. Safe area and just a few blocks away from restaurants and shopping. Great breakfast. I highly recommend to stay at the Suenos Silvestres !

A super clean room with ample shelving and hanging space for all of my things. I only stayed one night but would've been very comfortable here for a longer stay, as well. Warm water in the shower. Wifi worked well in my room. Free water refill station by the office. You have the option of getting breakfast at the hotel in the morning. The courtyard of the property is very pretty, and the manager who greeted me was very accommodating. Before I'd even gotten to my room, he'd set me up with a taxi to take me on a tour of the highlands that afternoon as well as pick me up the next morning to take me to the airport. It was wonderful to have all of that sorted right away. He did not speak English, and my Spanish is not great, but he was quick to pull out the ol' translator app to make sure we completely understood each other. I liked the location of this hotel at the end of town toward the Charles Darwin Research Center. It felt calmer here than the hecticness at the other side of town near the pier. Sueños Silvestres is also close to the fish market and only two blocks away from the Jardin de Ceramica (a beautiful, quiet escape within noisy Puerto Ayora). SUPER quiet at night.

Nestled a few streets back from the main street of Charles Darwin, you find this nicely decorated, clean and well tended hotel (although they call it a hostal), The owner's are a nice elderly couple who live on premises, and tend to your every need,. I stayed there 6 days total, but did some island hopping in between, and they were nice enough to store my luggage in the office free until I came back. You cannot beat the value for your money. For an extra $5, you are served a full breakfast (coffee, juice, fresh fruit, yogurt with granola, eggs and toast). Highly recommend this place!
