"This is a place to enjoy nature, wake up in the morning and listen the famous Darwin's finches fluttering around the ample gardens with a nice cup of freshly brewed Galapagos coffee. The location is 5 minutes walk from Bellavista, which is 10 minutes drive from the bustling town of Puerto Ayora, yet, feels very close. The property is 600 ft ASL aprox. The Staff from Suymar is very friendly and accommodating to us guests. Providing info to all different sites in Santa Cruz Is. If you would like to see the giant tortoises, you are 15 minutes drive from there! Taxis for 4 people max will take you there. Delicious breakfast is served (not just a continental one!) Upon request dinners can be made, delicious ones at a very affordable rate! Highly recommended. Galapagos is a Tech-detox place :)"

"Pretty basic hotel in Puerto Ayora. Clean enough, quiet enough, some hot water for showers, so is a reasonable place if you get a good deal, probably wouldn’t pay much more than $60 for two people. Breakfast the first day was good, the second ok."

"The building is farther from the waterfront (just a block off Ave Baltra then seven blocks to Academy Bay) than other places I’ve stayed while in Puerto Ayora. For an overnight stay, the room was plain, yet comfortable. I was most impressed by the dawn view of town during breakfast on the top floor. Some guests may be pleasantly surprised to learn the building has an elevator."

"This is the NOISEST hotel I have ever stayed ib. Thank gos there was a power cut last night as its 1130pm and all i can still hear is INCREDIBLY LOUD music constantly. Room 33 is dreadful, smells like something has died in the room. Really poor curtains so the room is so light. Deapite hanging the towels up still taken away each day massive waste of water. No fridge in the room. Breakfast if you are vegan is literally pineapple and melon. Just feels really cheap, no lamps in the rooms. No cups or glasses. I can NOT wait to leave here and get some sleep elsewhere. Beyond me why the music is so loud."

"Very friendly staff in the beginning of our 3 night stay, the manager was especially kind; we asked to move rooms because of the awful noise though the night outside and inside the hotel. The following 2 nights were better although I would not recommend a room near the street we were both woken many times by people partying in the streets, 0 noise protection from the windows, traffic, people talking in the hotel, children running up and down the corridors of the hotel at 9.30pm screaming, one wonders at why parents think this is ok in public hotel where people may be trying to sleep? The breakfast was very limited and basic, and the coffee is not worth drinking. The second morning we tried to get breakfast and it was very strange the staff were not helpful the tables were not cleared and we had to keep asking for things and felt like we had done something wrong. When we asked for black pepper we were told there wasn't any. The staff mostly were kind and helpful I guess it was ok for the price that was paid. Excellent a/c and very comfortable beds."
