I came here for a week end of may with one of my friends. We wanted a chilled week away. We booked all inclusive as it’s easier for us. Firstly I want to say the roof top bar was lovely, it was chilled, the hot tubs that are a nice temperature as it was cloudy most of our holiday, the music was good although it was clearly the same CD each day but still nice and the drinks upstairs were great. The downside, the hotel was dead, about 10 people each day at breakfast lunch and dinner, the food was absolutely awful, we did raise this and they said we were the only ones who have done. We definitely cannot be. The food was also the same every day. Breakfast and dinner was in a big restaurant but lunch was in the pool bar so very minimal choice at all. We ended up eating out a few evenings just to have something nice. Throughout the holiday I felt the hotel was clean but behind the food in the restaurant my friend noticed loads of cockroaches and bugs. Luckily we were going home the following morning. It states it is near to the beach which granted it is BUT it’s not an easy walk at all, it’s either 125 steps or a really steep slope. There were no Little things like taking your case to the room etc, but when the cleaner “cleaned” the room they didn’t clean they just made the bed that was it. I definitely wont be returning.

Went to this hotel with my nan this is 15th time she’s been as she used to always come with my grandad that has sadly passed away, we came to this hotel so it could bring back lovely memories but it’s gone down hill massively, food is horrible the only thing I eat for a week was chips. staff aren’t interested in you unless your German, no entertainment, the hotels empty, there were probably about 15 people each day in the dining hall morning and dinner. cockroaches everywhere, it’s very dated, definetly not worth 4 stars. Also I’ll finish off by saying the staff need to learn English if they are dealing with English people because their English is very poor.

Myself and teenage daughter booked this hotel through a third party and were very pleasantly surprised. It was very quiet and empty which we loved (partly because she was studying for upcoming exams), only a few older visitors and quite a few solo German travellers, some of whom we became friends with. We loved the range & quality of food provided on the buffet, we did half board which was great. Our highlight had to be the new roof top terrace bar & jacuzzi! We spent a lot of time there; great views and nice place to relax. Only a short 5 minute walk downhill (good for the legs!) to the centre of Puerto Della Cruz and the Lago Martinez complex & bars/restaurants. If you want a hotel to stay in the whole time or with lots of entertainment, it wouldn’t suit, but if you want to have a balance of hotel and town experience and a great base to be in, then I would fully recommend & we would go back tomorrow! I went for morning runs down the coast and used the wee gym a few times: even if it was quite basic. My daughter and I enjoyed getting dressed up and going for ice creams, karaoke & drinks in the town :). There was a professional photographer there on the night we arrived who took a beautiful picture and made us a souvenir magazine for breakfast the next morning. (See pics). There in a mini market, tourist booking place and tapas bar right underneath! We went on a few trips down south of the island for great value. Big shout out to the staff across the hotel who were all very accommodating & kind, especially Yapci!

To celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary we revisited this hotel at Puerto De La Cruz. With new owners we were concerned that changes had been made however despite alterations being made the hotel was as good as ever. The rooms and service was excellent, the Restaurant despite being moved back to the Ground floor had excellent variety of meals to suit all tastes and the staff headed by Pedro, with Martin ,Federico Melanie and colleagues were welcoming and very obliging and super efficient. I must mention a new addition,The Top. On the 7th floor you can observe the whole of the surrounding area from very comfortable loungers, beds, and 2 hot tubs. A bar serving drinks is also there,a very nice addition to this lovely hotel, but the location is halfway up a hill with 125 steps to walk up and down to the town so not suitable for those with mobility problems, then there is always a taxi!! The new owners are looking to turn it into a family friendly hotel with a new swimming pool and all inclusive, which might deter some people.

Third stay and paid extra for a room in the main building on the third floor which was very noisy. The noise transmission from other rooms was considerable and kept me awake every night. Constant loud bangs, thumps, rumbling sounds the entire evening often until 1am. It ruined the holiday. I will not stay again. The building is old and made of concrete and sound travels! There is no sound proofing. The food is the best feature of this hotel. Drinks varied in price depending on who was serving and were 2 or 3 euros more than bars in town and other hotels.

WARNING! Before you sit in the chairs for eating check they aren’t coming apart. We avoided many chairs as they were separating but one evening at dinner the room was crowded and although the chairs available looked ok when we sat and had our beverages delivered my wife’s chair came apart. Luckily she grabbed a firm hold on the table while the “dining room manager” and I steadied her from hitting the floor. Beverages spilled on us and all over. She has some minor mobility issues with her knees and was injured trying not to fall to the floor. Other guests checked their chairs! We were told by said manager to report it at the desk so we did. The “hotel manager” said OK, didn’t assist us in any way nor did he write anything down. Food, always buffet style, was awful. Very cold no matter what was chosen at what time of day. Now the other bad parts, we reserved in advance, an accessible room due to wife’s knee issues only to arrive to learn the duration of our pre cruise stay (four days) that accessible room was non existent and snappy response was “at least you’re near the elevator”. Sadly, it broke on day two and there was no way to reach our room so we stayed all day in the lobby until it was repaired. The view from our room was nice and room was clean but we didn’t know the hills were impossible to climb for my wife so again she remained at the hotel. Day three we rented a car and escaped. The entertainment provided at the hotel was nice enough but held in the open reception area. People walked through, chatting over the entertainment sounds and moved furniture where they wanted. Took away from performances greatly.

Gorgeous mountain view from my room, really comfy bed and friendly staff who were always helpful . The hotel was in a great position for exploring the town and the sea front. It was my birthday whilst I was there , thank you so much for the cava and making me feel special. Would definitely return for another stay

The hotel is not 5 star it is 3 star if lucky . The room smelled of damp, the food was average , staff had no idea what time there own roof top Opened , gym was zero rated no machines worked and over 3 days we stayed was not cleaned once same tissues laying there after 3 days . Some of the guest were clearly unused to seeing Asian people as we got a lot of snide comments and looks
