you can reach the hotel directly by boat across the beach. The hotel has no road access. Some steps have to be taken to get to the room. Very friendly, helpful staff. Great rooms. We felt comfortable. Thank you very much.

Absolutely cannot recommend this place highly enough. It's a litte further down the sea front but tucked away from the noise while still being right on the water. The room was immaculate and spacious, cleaned everyday and (surprisingly) mosquito-free. The resaurant offers fantastic food at a great price and the whole place has a family run vibe. And it's this that I rate so highly about the place. I was solo travelling over the Christmas holiday and the ladies that run the hotel were so so welcoming and friendly.They offered for me to join their Christmas dinner and kept breakfast open to me 15-20 minutes late so I could catch the 9am dive and still eat when I came back. They were all so lovely, it didn't feel like I was alone over the festive period. If I am ever to visit PG again, I'll 100% be staying at Out of the Blue.

Razors and free drinking water are not provided in the room. There were no amenities at all and we had to buy things outside the hotel.

The room is quite big and the facilities are quite complete. It’s pretty good on PG Island. There is no elevator, so you have to climb stairs to get up and down. The environment is not particularly tidy and feels a bit depressed compared to next door.

Checked in on the 18th, the environment is very good, the service is very thoughtful, very safe, there are hotel staff guarding the door at night! A special mention is that this restaurant is really great. I recommend going to her house for dinner. I ordered three or four dishes and it was dazzling! (PS On the second day of check-in, I left my phone on the chair by the pool after swimming. When I found out that I was looking for it, the hotel staff just delivered it to the door of the room very enthusiastically. Thank you so much!)

We had a good time at the resort. It was relaxing, the food was and the hosts were quite accommodating. They proactively reached out to book ferry tickets for us when they realized that the seats are limited due to cancellations caused by the cyclone. The location is a bit hard to reach and you have to walk the last 800 metres. Its a great place to stay if you plan to do diving and related activities.

I must come back. Out of the Blue was meant to be a quick stop in the middle of our backpacking trip around the Philippines, but it ended being so much more. This place is truly a gem, with amazing staff, great food and even better views! Our room was perfectly placed in front of the pool, with the beach steps away. The weather was amazing too - what more could one ask for? Highly highly recommend this place, and will be sure to make a trip back someday soon! If you're coming to Puerto Galera, please do yourself a favour and stay here, you won't regret it.

We had a wonderful experience with a warm welcome at the hotel, creating a good feeling, especially since it was our 1st wedding anniversary. The staff made it special, adding an amazing lovely touch to our celebration. Every single staff member is friendly, the food is excellent and the service outstanding! We can say this was one of the best places we’ve ever been. Thank you all and we hope to come back again sometime.
