El hotel cuenta con una ubicación privilegiada, justo a orillas del lago, lo que permite disfrutar de un entorno natural excepcional. No obstante, el acceso resulta poco señalizado y el camino se encuentra en malas condiciones, lo que dificulta la llegada. La habitación superior ofrece vistas magníficas del lago y las montañas, aunque el mantenimiento general de las instalaciones es insuficiente. A pesar de haber reservado una habitación superior a través de la aplicación TRIP, se nos asignó una de categoría inferior sin una justificación clara. Las habitaciones presentan humedad y falta de mantenimiento, aspectos que no se corresponden con la categoría ni el precio del establecimiento. En conjunto, considero que por el costo de la estadía es posible encontrar opciones con instalaciones mejor cuidadas y un nivel de servicio más acorde.

Disappointing experience. My recent stay at Hotel El Muelle By Dot was a total disappointment, despite its 4-star rating. The pool was not heated when we arrived, and the rest of the days dirty, the whirlpool did not work properly, when you turned it on, it flooded the room below. The breakfast was typical of a 1 star hotel. The rooms were hot, without air conditioning, and during the night there was no hot water for showering. The hotel maintenance is zero. The attitude of the manager, Miguel Patrone, was unacceptable. It is valid to clarify that the original owners are not there. I appreciate the exceptional attention of Romina and Agustín, but I warn future guests to avoid this place. Lack of commitment to quality and serious problems make vacations a nightmare.

Perfect place and location like almost all the hotels on the lake. Rooms impossible to stay in, because they do not have air conditioning and have a low wooden ceiling and half of the bathroom ceiling is made of glass...discomposing, we couldn't even bathe in peace from the unbearable heat, a total greenhouse, we couldn't sleep … we kept the bathroom door closed so that no more heat would enter the room… Mrs. Miriam was able to move us to the only room on the -4 floor, (there are only 2), changing passengers who would enter, which did not have a glass roof to be better, but still, very hot rooms... a 4 star hotel without air conditioning (portable even if it is... they exist), it is not 4 stars! In the reception and common spaces, such as the breakfast room, it is also very hot. Poor breakfast, hard and dry croissants, breads and cookies and sweets...they ran out of coffee, we waited 15' for them to refill (it was the second coffee) but we left...another Mr. was also complaining and it was 9 in the morning. The pool was very small and dirty. A tile fell inside while we were sitting and during the 4 days, no one took it out. The general cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Upholstery full of stains and I think the putty was never swept, there was always dust (like all of La Angostura) We had to ask during the 4 days we were there for them to send us the invoice already paid...they told us that They already did it but don't...pay taxes, sirs! Just on the last day, a lady sent it. They do not have cafeteria service all day (breakfast, they close) and they do have dinner, very expensive compared to restaurants in La Angostura, but according to the manager, it is not convenient for them(?), they earn from the occupation of the greenhouse rooms that they have. I have the lucky to know several 4-star hotels and, although the place is nice, this one is not... the guest service includes several things that they do not have. The heat throughout the hotel was terrible and unbearable. There are many better options for those prices and better guest services. And finally, when we said hello to leave, a lady at the reception asked me where I was going, when I said San Martín de los Andes, she told me that “I was going to regret it.” that La Angostura is prettier”…totally misplaced. I would never go back

We were just at the hotel. And the truth is that it is a disappointment to be 4 stars as they say they are and the price is 190 dollars. Because of the experience we have in 5, 4 and 3 star hotels. The spectacular view, but mainly the sagging bed and the breakfast do not represent those 4 stars. We have been to 3 star hotels with better bed and breakfast. At night we had to ask them to increase the heating, and the floating one or I don't know what made noise. At breakfast there was no staff to help you. And very low quality and variety. Coffee in a cold thermos. They don't have eggs. Everything covered with plastic wrap and practically only puddings. The croissants very low quality. Also in the room you cannot store clothes in the furniture since there are no shelves. Very little space to pass between the bed and the furniture. And finally the pool seemed dirty with the water cloudy.

SCAM!!! Please read so it doesn't happen to anyone else!!! My partner and I stayed at this hotel, and we had the worst experience. We made the reservation directly with them, they sent us messages, videos and photos of all the hotel's amenities and services. Everything looked beautiful, and we made a transfer as a reservation. When we arrive at the hotel, we are greeted by a receptionist (STEVEN) who very kindly shows us all the facilities. When we asked him about the pool and sauna hours, he told us that we could not use it because that day “the thermostat had broken” and the temperature was very low, and he told us with great regret that throughout our stay he would not believe that it would be solved. To which we said ok, no problem, we could still use the jacuzzi that you see in the photos of the room. The same thing happened with sauna and Turkish shower. That is to say: NO SPA SERVICE WAS AVAILABLE, THE SAFE DECORATIONS ALSO WORK, and THERE IS NO SECURITY in the hotel. When at night, we returned to the hotel, we wanted to TAKE A SHOWER. Something logical and basic, and we found that THERE WAS NO HOT WATER in the rooms either. We wanted to have dinner, and they told us that the RESTAURANT WAS CLOSED and that it would remain closed for the rest of our stay. (All these services are sent to us at the time we make the reservation, as services available in the hotel) To which my partner goes up to the reception to complain and the moment he is in the elevator, it stops, leaving him locked in. , without light for several minutes. More failures in the Hotel. WE COULD NOT USE THE ELEVATOR for fear of it happening again. BREAKFAST: poor, few options. Not even close to a 4 star hotel. And nowhere near the quality of the breakfasts offered in other VLA hotels. Continuing with the horror story and without hot water to bathe, with 4 degrees of outside temperature, we request that you please contact the manager so that he can give us a solution, or contact us WITH THE TRUTH, and thus decide whether to go to another hotel, since NOTHING of what they offered us was available. And they answer us that “he was on vacation.” There was only one employee, the receptionist, who took care of all matters, who told us that the hotel should be closed for repairs but that the “owners” did not do it. We continue with the uncertainty until finally the manager contacts us. AND THEY TELL US THAT THEY HAD THESE PROBLEMS 3 WEEKS AGO. (which I confirm with Google comments, where the same comments have been made for more than 3 months) And that due to the inconvenience they were going to give us a 30% discount on our rate, and some attention. We were finally able to bathe the next night, and continued our stay, which was only 5 days. At the time of checking out, they told us that in the end the discount they were going to give us was not going to be the one they expected.
