Servatur Hartaguna - Adults Only

This was our third and best visit to Hartaguna to date, this hotel is little gem. The atmosphere is very relaxed and quiet and never seems to busy. The rooms have everything you need, spotless and serviced regularly. All the staff are very friendly and always say Hola with a smile. As other reviews have mentioned the hotel is up a hill, not a problem for us as we feel the walk back up in the evening helps burn off the extra holiday calories. We have never had the need for a taxi, but they are cheap and plentiful. Just want to say a big thank you to reception staff who allocated us the room which we had requested which I know isn’t an easy thing to do. Big shout out to David the pool lifeguard, he went out of his way to make sure everyone was having the perfect time in the solarium and pool area, and when the pool was empty he would even collect empty glasses for the bar and tidy up. The pool bar is great, the drinks and food are always top notch, perhaps opening until 6 in the summer could be an option as when it shuts at 5 you feel like the day sunbathing is drawing to an end, when actually there is hours of hot sun left. All in all Hartaguna is a great hotel to stay in, hope when Rocamar next door becomes part of it things don’t change. We will be back again. Nigel and Claire Prince

Came to enjoy a week away with my Mumma. The hotel is fab! Really beautifully presented and always immaculate. The pool is stunning with views over Puerto Rico and the sea. The food from the pool bar is delicious and the cocktails and amazing. Our little apartment had everything we needed and the team on site were always friendly and helpful! Location wise, the town, beach and restaurants are a 15 minute downhill walk and a taxi back up is only €3.85.

We had a wonderful stay at Servatur Hartaguna as two couples aged 25–35. The rooms and shared areas were modern, clean, and well maintained, with room cleaning provided five days a week. All staff were excellent throughout our stay, from reception to the bar and housekeeping teams. The bar offered a snack menu with plenty of choice for breakfast and lunch, along with a wide selection of drinks. There was also a daily happy hour from 12–1pm. The bar opens at 10am and closes at 5pm. We enjoyed pizza, sandwiches, hot dogs, Tropical beer, Canarias Tropical cocktail, and Mango Daquiris (cocktails and mocktails) from the bar. There were no issues with sunbed wars, and the atmosphere was very peaceful. A great spot for sun all day long. The pool and whirlpool were quite cold, but perfect for cooling off in the heat. The hotel is set on a hill with a number of steps down to the resort, so it may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. We personally enjoyed the walk down and took taxis back up in the evenings, which were under €4 each time. There is also a taxi rank opposite the hotel if you prefer to travel down. There is a hotel supermarket in the nearby Montebello hotel, which we used once for bottled water, but most of our shopping for breakfast and snacks was done at Spar and HiperDino in the main part of Puerto Rico. We would definitely recommend paying for a sea view room. We also got lucky and had a lovely view over the pool area. We usually go for all-inclusive holidays (and always choose Servatur when staying in Gran Canaria), but if we were to do self-catering again, we would happily return to Hartaguna.

On our last day today . Our apartment is 209 lovely sea view . Big balcony to chill on. 2 relaxing chairs and a coffee table . The apartment has a modern feel to it , with a kitchenette area ,consists of a 2 ring hob , microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee making machine. Fridge with a small freezer part . And a breakfast bar. There's cutlery and basic plates , bowls are not deep so if you want cereal on a morning bring some . Mugs not small cups . So that was a bonus. A small living room area with 2 tall chairs a little coffee table and tv , with English channels on . A double wardrobe with plenty of hanging space and shelves . Beds are 2 singles pushed together with mattress toppers on , adequate but not ideal if you like a firm bed . Lovely comfy pillows .There's at least 4 stations to charge a phone , I pad ect on . So no need fetching extra plugs . No iron so if you need one bring one or a small steamer . Large bathroom area with a double shower. There's an hairdryer in the area. There's shampoo and soap provided. Just outside our rooms there's washing machine and tumble dryer for use to the guests £5 euros , with powder . Its very easy to visit either the Europea centre or the lower shopping centre and mogan mall. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return back to this apartments. Lovely hotel and facilities at a great price, perfect for a couples holiday, staff are very welcoming! Rooms and hotel overall is very clean in a great location, just a short walk from shopping centres, restaurants and the beach. Gorgeous views, pool gets great sunlight at peak UV.

Fantastic hotel, will be back. Lovely rooms, lovely beds, just a nice little hotel. No complaints at all.

A lovely quiet & peaceful aparthotel which was perfect for a week's relaxation. Quite high up in Puerto Rico but if you're prepared to do some walking (take trainers), there are plenty of steps down to the bars, shops, restaurants port & beach,with different routes. We enjoyed the area to the left ( near Mogan Mall) & ate twice at Tipsy Bee. Food amazing & staff so friendly. Apartment was clean & modern with everything you need if you want to eat in. We mainly had breakfasts in the apartment then lunch after 1pm if sitting by the pool.Happy hour cocktails 12 to 1pm so no food served during this hour. Pool area is well looked after & never had a problem with finding a sun lounger, although it was annoying to see other people putting towels down and going away for a few hours. We booked a coach trip to the north of the island with a visit to the rum distillery with 'Get your Guide' online. Picked up at 8.15 am from the bus stops in the centre of town (10 min walk). It was a perfect day with a great guide. Took a boat trip from the port to Mogan, which is a beautiful place & worth visiting. All in all, I would definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxing, quiet holiday.

Great location with a great view of Puerto Rico. Peaceful and the ultimate place to have a relaxing break away from it all. Rooms are really well equipped and clean and staff are lovely. Really happy to report that the smoking issues we encountered on our last visit seem to have been sorted. We’ll be back in Oct for our 5th visit
