Crown Paradise Golden All Inclusive Resort - Adults Only

I booked a honeymoon suite and got a regular room upon arrival. I went to address the issue showing them proof of what I paid for and they didnt seem to care nor help us with that issue. The room I got was very outdated showing some signs of wear. Paint to cover the cracked walls and mold. My room had more view to the buffet and pool than it did the ocean.. the only good thing here is the bellman services. They're all great. The other staff seemed to rush us out the buffet we paid for all inclusive but this place was not worth it. Definitely not coming back nor recommend this not even to an enemy. Thanks to Trip.com and their fast customer service they reimbursed me a fair amount for me to just suck it up and hang in there till check out. I will never book this place again. Trip.com was very helpful.

The place has seen better days. Many of the photos shown in ads on Facebook and Trip.com are heavily edited, because the hotel itself is much more run down in person. For $250 CAD for one night, I expected working air conditioning. The air conditioning was broken in my first room, so I requested a different room, but the second room was only slightly better. I visited two rooms, and each one had something different that was broken. I also met other guests in the hallway who said their air conditioning was not working either. The snack bar was underwhelming, the free drinks were nothing special, and both the dinner and breakfast buffet in the main outdoor dining area made me wish I had eaten somewhere else. The hotel promotes all of its restaurants and bars, but it felt more like a facade. The English pub was basically a red-painted door, no air conditioning, some lights, and a pool table. The other restaurants looked very similar to one another. I also had to wait 1.5 hours after check-in time to receive my room. The staff were wonderful, and I appreciated their service, but I would not stay here again, at least during the off-season.

The staff is fab, helpull, friendly, and engaging. The hotel is older and that was noticeable in the bathroom especially with the shower contol falling off etc, but all super clean. Good bed, no coffee maker or hairdryer in the room but could be asked for. Pool area us large with lots of seating and the beach is super. The gym is for this day and age not big enough, bad machines that could hurt you (wonky leg extension machine and exposed metal wires on all cables causing bloody arms!) Food is good, especialky in the restaurants that you need to reserve, bonus is the 3 restaurants at the sister resort next doir that you also book.Good drinks, cold beer so overall ok.

Staff is always fantastic, love the location and secure feeling at resort. Can see they are trying improve hotel as well
