Hilton Vallarta Riviera All-Inclusive Resort,Puerto Vallarta

I was at this location 2 years ago when it was Grand Fiesta Americana. The dinner restaurant menu and quality were excellent. As Hilton the quality of food at the restaurants has definitely gone DOWN from a 8 to 5. The night entertainment is very bad. They need to do some more fun pool activities and night shows. There is nothing to do at night after dinner. I would recommend working on better menu options, quality of food and entertainment. The Mexican restaurant has mainly American food. The Italian restaurant has very limited options and the food is not good at all. I couldn't even eat my Italian food. But the location, service and view of the hotel is excellent. I hate writing negative reviews but this is an honest review. Thank you!

A lot of tipping is expected... Hotel did not provide currency exchange and we relied on the bellboys, who usually have the most tips, to exchange. They of course expected some for doing this.

Such a wonderful experience. Everyone was so kind, clean, respectful, positive - the whole nine yards. The servers at each restaurant was especially amazing. Specifically Sergio at La Lune and everyone at the Asian restaurant treated me with absolute grace. I can't say enough to them but they made my anniversary with my boyfriend an awesome experience. Thank you!

The resort is nice, however the cleanliness isn't the greatest. We arrived to our hotel room with a ball of hair in the room and pieces of random furniture/maintainence boards in our bathroom...everything else was great, the pools, the food, the nightly entertainment, the staff and services were great. wonderful vacation overall, but the cleanliness could use improvement.

The Hilton is a great property with great staff. The entertainment is well done. The buffet, at least for breakfast, is very good. We ate lunch and dinner elsewhere on the property. Dinners were decent, but definitely not gourmet. Reservations seemed fairly easy to obtain each night. Tip: Always ask for the better tequila in your margaritas, they are much better. The property/elevator locations are VERY confusing. You have to take 2 elevators sometimes to get to dinner and that's if you don't get confused in the process. Overall very nice vacation.

Superb service from start to finish. Not a single problem. Excellent food options. Ocean and beach is private and safe. Highly recommend.

Smaller hotel, but most of the staff was excellent. Could use another restaurant or two option as it was difficult to get reservations for our large party every night. We had upgraded our rooms to be able to have adjjoining rooms. With this, we were told we would have access to the enclave, lounge and bottles of wine and all these extras. Upon arrival we were told only two members of our family could enter the enclave lounge, and there were no bottles of wine in our room. I was told to email the staff member we spoke with, which I did on day one and I still have never received a response. be careful with an upgrade as you’ll pay for services you don’t receive.

Food was good but not great. Everything else was fantastic, and our trip to a nearby resort for a wedding made us appreciate what we had at the Hilton even more.
