"I booked a honeymoon suite and got a regular room upon arrival. I went to address the issue showing them proof of what I paid for and they didnt seem to care nor help us with that issue. The room I got was very outdated showing some signs of wear. Paint to cover the cracked walls and mold. My room had more view to the buffet and pool than it did the ocean.. the only good thing here is the bellman services. They're all great. The other staff seemed to rush us out the buffet we paid for all inclusive but this place was not worth it. Definitely not coming back nor recommend this not even to an enemy. Thanks to Trip.com and their fast customer service they reimbursed me a fair amount for me to just suck it up and hang in there till check out. I will never book this place again. Trip.com was very helpful."

"VERY, VERY difficult to find this hotel. It’s at the top of a SUPER steep hill. No signage. I had to wave down a police car to help me find the address - even they went the wrong direction at first but eventually they figured out where I needed to go. Getting large/heavy luggage up the steep hill was a major struggle for me and I’m in good shape/fit. There is nothing nice about the location of this hotel - sad neighborhood and felt run down, poorly taken care of. Not near tourist spots, no restaurants nearby, difficult to get Ubers here. The fact that they didn’t even bother to post basic signage for guests says everything you need to know. Do NOT stay here - you’ll regret it 110%."

"The hotel is very well located, the rooms are clean, just double-check if your room is in the Hacienda or Grand section. The service is generally okay, but not commensurate with the price. The waiters don't treat you well if you're not a foreigner, they don't know the opening hours of other establishments near the hotel and send you for drinks incorrectly. The hotel doesn't have beach access; you have to transfer to the Grand section. They offer several specialty restaurants; however, on Thursday and Friday, only two were open, and on Saturday, only one, the French restaurant. (We had a reservation at 9:00 AM, and it took 40 minutes to fill each course. We had to cancel our dessert reservation because it was almost 11:00 PM.) Furthermore, guests reserve the pool lounge chairs and just put their towels on them; there's no one there to supervise. If you ask, they ignore you and don't offer any solutions. There aren't enough lounge chairs and the staff is inadequate. It was a bad experience in terms of customer service. Everything was fine in the cafeteria; the staff were very friendly. They are very strict about check-out time."
