I knew this resort thru my relative. I didn’t read the review before and now I’m shocked when I read those review after my stayed. It was totally different from my own experience. First of all, thank you of hosting me and my family (from KL) with 3D2N trip, we had two sea-view rooms accommodated for 3 adults and my 13 yo twins girl. Our package included two-ways boat transfer, snorkelling, 3D2N meals which included 1 BBQ buffet dinner. When we arrived jetty, resort staff already waited there for us and assist us brought our belongings to the resort. Our rooms are equipped with aircond and water heater. The down side here is the water pressure is too low. Other than that the rooms are clean and bed are comfortable, we had a very good nights there! Overall the accommodation was above expectations. Staffs there are friendly and all the meals provided are special and delicious, especially curry chicken, fried egg (must try)… The impeccable service and hospitality of the staff made our retreat most enjoyable. We were very impressed by their responsiveness. We are lucky met owner during our stay. This couple are so lovely, friendly and kind. Most important both of them with no airs and graces. Our family are very happy and enjoyed this trip and definitely we will intro this to our friends and family in KL.

It had a lot of bad reviews in here but I thought it could not be so bad, but unfortunately it was.
The bathroom conditions were horrible and there were many insects such as spiders in the room.
The whole property seems to not have been taken care for years.
Also when you get to the place the real name of the hotel is Empire which sounds a bit suspicious to have a different name from the listing here.
I certainly would recommend any other place in the island.

Before saying what was wrong, we must give the positive points: - Hotel on the beach very well located and perfectly in accordance with the description - facilitation of access by boat from Kuala Besut where the hotel arranged our transfer C It's a shame the place is so beautiful... On the other hand the hotel leaves something to be desired: - upon arriving there the hostess speaking very little English told us that breakfast was not included in our reservation even though it was the case. While negotiating, she ends up telling us that breakfast is served between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. in the morning. The next morning, when we arrived before 10 a.m., we were told that breakfast was over… in fact, there was no timetable. So the next day they took care to wake us up at 8:15 a.m. even though we hadn't asked for anything... Apart from that, the rooms are unsanitary, damp and sheets are not provided. There is wifi at reception. In short, it is not the best place to sleep in the Perhantian Islands, but the islands are heavenly.

The restaurant is way too expensive for the quality. Prohibitive laundry rate. The rooms are basic. There is no shelf or anything else to put your things on. Plaster on the bathroom tiles. So improvements could be made quite easily.
If we accept frugality, the hotel is very well located. Calm and pretty beach.
Very beautiful garden. Friendly and helpful staff.

Difficult to give an opinion on this hostel. I was the only customer! The young man on site is very helpful and welcomed me well and was very professional.
On the other hand, I am not very difficult but the electricity cuts out in the middle of the night (1st night on site) and therefore no more air conditioning. From there is no electricity between 7am and 9am. Then from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. A temporary problem...
On the other hand, there is good quality wifi and a fan and air conditioner in the dormitory.
