Near with the beach estimate in 5 minute. But the walkway quite dark need a torchlight. But overall the facilities was the best.

Superb room! I slept very well. No bugs at all! It does smell a bit damp, though. It's a 3-minute walk to the sea. Bring a flashlight for the evening. The hosts are very kind! Good atmosphere. I recommend it.

The hotel is in the jungle, which we knew before booking, but how do you expect people to get there SAFELY if there is no road ? We had to climb a dirty path and for some reason there was no light during the night, making the walk even more dangerous. In addition to this, there was no Wifi or Internet in the room. That means once you get to the hotel, you can't use your phone, now imagine if you have an emergency... The bathroom was another problem, the shower was right next to the toilet, making it really hard to use both. The fan was nice though, we weren't hot during the night. The room was standard and did not justify the price. And be careful about the insects (huge mosquitos and spiders) and Komodo dragons near the entrance... They should at least put a sign about it so residents could be extra careful. Overall, wouldn't go there again and wouldn't recommend it. Book your hotel in advance, we had no choice but to go with this hotel unfortunately.

The entrance to the facility can be easily found following the dirt road connecting long beach to coral bay. The road starts on the further side from the pier, shortly before Seahorse Divers. Coming from long beach, you just need to walk about 50 meters to get to the entrance. The facility itself is quite large and extends from the bottom to the top of the eastern side of the hill. Depending on your room you might have to walk uphill for a couple of hundred meters. Contrary to what I read in some reviews, at the moment there is no shop, no restaurant and there are no tours offered within the compound. Nevertheless this is not an issue due to the proximity to both beaches where you can find all needed restaurants and services. On the positive side I want to highlight the size and the cleanliness of the room. Very important is also the fact that the mosquito nets are in good shape and inside the room I didn't encounter any mosquitoes at all. The resort itself is kept in a good shape, the maintenance team works daily on minor building renovations and path cleaning. Locals also seem to appreciate the ironing station behind the reception, next to a large common area where it's possible to connect to the internet as WiFi doesn't work in the rooms more uphill. On the negative side the resort strictly enforces a 3 pm check-in policy, which is quite unfortunate as many guests come with the first boats in the morning. Moreover many rooms lack air conditioning. While this is clear at the moment of booking and the fans are doing a decent job, temperatures in the rooms stay high even during the night.

lots of insects: cockroaches, mosquitoes, spiders. Everywhere. The bed is broken, extremely uncomfortable. I can hardly speak about the equipment. There is air conditioning! The only positive thing about the accommodation. Location-wise, it is not that far from long breach. but on top of a mountain. The road is unlit. For this much money, it is very expensive. Only go if there is nothing else.

The hotel is located 10 minutes from the beach, in the forest. It's very, very humid; the room smells damp, nothing dries, and the sheets feel wet. There are no closets or hangers to dry clothes inside, and lots of mosquitoes. Quite disappointed.

Seriously, I absolutely do not recommend this hotel. It's super expensive, and you'll get eaten alive by mosquitoes. And don't even get me started on the location. After just one day, I had to urgently book another hotel. I do not recommend this hotel at all. 0/10. To top it off, there's no AC. They remove the AC remote and then demand 150 RM per day for it!!!!!

WiFi: Extremely unstable. Two bars at the door, zero bars in bed (couldn't connect). Amenities: No TV, no toothbrush or toothpaste. Only two small bottles of drinking water provided on the first day, none afterward. Cleanliness: Peeling furniture surfaces, dark and cramped room, leading to very poor air circulation. Location: It's on a hill, essentially between Long Beach and Coral Bay, quite far from everything (I recommend choosing a hotel near Coral Bay; the conditions there are better).

Only if you're really strapped for cash. Otherwise, it's a nightmare. No air conditioning, everything feels damp. The fan barely works. The conditions are Spartan, things are constantly breaking or falling apart. Water leaks everywhere in the shower. The room is small and rundown. It's located between Coral and Long Beach. I admit I chose it because of the price. If you want something better, don't expect to pay only $150 for 3 nights. But we ended up leaving after 2 nights. We had a ferry at 8 AM and a flight from Kota Bharu to Bali. Knowing how unreliable their punctuality can be, we took an evening ferry instead, which was still half an hour late. Imagine the stress we would have had in the morning! I do not recommend it. If you have the option, choose a different hotel. Honestly, the Perhentian Islands themselves left me with the impression of being 'raped' islands. Yes, the water is beautiful, but everything else is so dirty, with garbage everywhere. People just don't appreciate the natural beauty. There are too many boats crammed together, too many cafes; the supply clearly outweighs the demand. Personally, I wouldn't want to go back there, to any hotel. It left a miserable impression.

Too many mosquitoes at lobby but was luckily wasok in the room. Entrance to hotel lobby/rooms is quite far from beach. No hair dryer was provided. When requested, the staff simply said other guests had not returned the borrowed units, so none were available—an unsatisfactory response.

I don't understand some of the negative comments. The location is great, everything is close by. The rooms are clean and free of bugs. Toilet paper and towels are provided. There’s a small shop next to the reception. The road and the small uphill walk are not a problem at all. I recommend this place.

The staff were great! We talked a lot of which were the best diving and snorkeling spots. The rooms were clean and spacious with hot water. The hotel is located in between coral bay and long beach, but it is a bit of walk if you have suitcases. I did it with my backpack and it was no problem. About 3 minutes walk to long beach and around 7 minutes walk to coral bay.
