Royalton CHIC Antigua, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort - Adults Only

My friend and I stayed at this resort for four nights, and unfortunately it was the worst resort experience we’ve ever had. A week before our arrival, I emailed to request details about our room type and never received a reply. We didn’t get the room type we booked and had to move the second day. When we arrived, the staff kept passing us from one person to another, saying it wasn’t their responsibility. A staff I believe called Mayfer simply offered us the print out hotel T&C to read. Although I had prepaid the full amount, we were asked to pay again at check-in. I showed the payment confirmation and they finally acknowledged it — but at checkout, they asked us to pay again and made us wait about 30 minutes while they tried to verify the payment. Throughout the stay, the staff showed little interest in answering questions or helping guests. While there were some visible efforts to improve, the restaurant experience was extremely disappointing. The buffet food wasn’t replenished, the quality was poor, and I personally witnessed a staff member lick an orange at the buffet — which was shocking and unacceptable. Overall, a horrible experience.

Came here to celebrate my birthday my fiancé advised the customer service about it and they said they will bring something to our unit however nothing came. Also the TV was nit working also there’s something dripping in our room. The service in the restaurant and at the bar was good. Was looking forward for my birthday to be memorable but sad to say I was disappointed.

Room was just okay, you can tell they made repairs. However not great repairs. show area was dirty, left over hair. The cleaning staff and personal butler was great, Our butler, Johnny was Steller (5 stars) he checked in each morning, responded when I had questions, booked our reservations. He was literally Johnny on the spot. The food was not good at all, no flavor. All of the food including the room service was not good. We looked forward to Taco Bell at the airport and thats saying a lot. Didnt like how everything closed early other than one bar and the nightly rave parties was very loud at 2 am. People were friendly, drinks has basically no alcohol in them. We've stayed in other Royalton's and this one by far was the worst. Would choose brand new next time if we stay at a Royalton.

Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable. Staff is very friendly and always ready to serve you. Rudy was the best! Huge variety of drinks. And beach is awesome! Steak house was so good. Definitely would go back.
