First off, we loved the jungle vibe and all of the pools and slides. Even as an adult-go try the water slide. It’s so fun and the lifeguard there is really great. Beds were comfy and our room view was spectacular. The service however, was hit or miss. There are some exceptional people working there and others who just miss the mark on customer service. It was the first A.I that I did grow tired of the food. Some days it would only take 5-10 mins to get your food and others up to 45 minutes. The pop up burger stand by the middle bar there definitely does not hit food safe standards. We were served a very questionable burger. I ended up in bed all day the next day, with no appetite for 2 days :( The beach club there is quite beautiful and very instagramable. Employees who stood out were Wendy (breakfast server) Jorge (reception/golf cart driver) Carlos (beach) and Marcelo (top pool bar). Oh, and lastly if you’re bothered by the overuse of plastic-there is a LOT of it used here. The best thing they could do for the environment would be to implement much less water bottles and more water refill stations throughout the resort. Sell people reusable water bottles to refill! If I didn’t bring my own I’d buy one. I filled up daily at the only one in the gym. Which btw-is gorgeous! Definitely worth checking out even if it’s just for a stretch. Taco truck- don’t miss. Best food I ate at night. Japanese restaurant was good, servers there were nice and entertaining.

We had an amazing stay at Delta Hotels by Marriott, Riviera Nayarit! The pool pool restaurant/bar were our favorite, but there are TONS of pools to enjoy! Of the smaller pools, there are some warm/hot and some cooler so be sure to check them for your preference! The food at the restaurants was great, and there’s an evening taco truck! The hibachi is AMAZING, best food we had and such a fun experience. The buffet always had something we enjoyed, be sure to fill up on breakfast because the pool bar food does not open until 12:00 (we are early risers). I cannot say enough good things about the staff, they were the most lovely group of people and SO helpful and friendly. They truly care and want to make your experience amazing. The property is spread out/hilly, but you are able to request golf cart transportation around the property if you need it. My husband had a prior foot injury, any time the staff saw him walking they stopped and offered him a ride! We went to the beach club one day which was also a blast, the food and custom cocktails were delicious, the water was nice (they put colored flags out to indicate the water safety level) and we saw whales jumping! We went for a couple hours which was the perfect amount of time. We did not venture elsewhere, but had friends explore the area and venture to Sayalita and said it was fun and super safe. Overall, we have no complaints! Highly recommend.

The grounds for this property were nice however the food was horrendous. The coffee machine was broken most days. They ran out of food at the buffet. I have been to Marriott before so was expecting good quality but this was by far the worst resort I have ever been at. Other guests felt the same.

We stayed at this property from Feb 16-23. Beach and amenities, lazy-river, and water-park are great. Remaining pools are clean but unusually hot. Room was average. Food/beverage is average but extremely limited/slow. On our last day food was not available from 1200-1330 because oil was being changed. Won't be returning unless price is significantly less than what we paid. Thanks.

I recently stayed at this resort and unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. The lack of shuttle service meant finding transportation was a hassle. Despite arriving at 3 pm, our room wasn't ready until 7 pm. The poolside waitstaff seemed nonexistent, leaving us parched for hours. Plus, many advertised amenities were unavailable, and the pools closed disappointingly early at 6 pm. The unreliable beach bus and severe understaffing only added to the frustration. Despite voicing our concerns, no compensation or apology was offered. The buffet experience was lackluster, with unengaged servers and misleading views. Long walking distances and lengthy waits for golf carts were also drawbacks. Additionally, the pervasive sewer smell in the bathrooms and mosquito infestation were unpleasant surprises. While the Japanese dinner was a highlight, the limit of one booking regardless of stay duration was disappointing. With distant city access and front desk mishaps, the resort's unique layout couldn't compensate for its poor service, earning it just two stars in my book.

We thought there would be more dining options, the explanation on ******* was pretty misleading. They have; A buffet (8am - noon and 5 -10pm) Japanese restaurant (only open in the evening) Food truck Pool bar/restaurant (noon - 6 I think) The staff were really nice and the food was good too! So many pools and different areas of the resort to relax at. It’s built into a coulee so walking up the resort is all incline and takes about 10 minutes. They have golf carts that can take you up to the top or wherever you need to go.

Our primary issue was that we had 600 mex pesos taken from our room while we were gone. This was investigated with no follow up for the 4 days we had remaining. They took my contact information but I expect no real follow up. The main property was nice, but the pools had moss growing in pretty much every one. There was also not many areas with shade during the heat of the day. There were also many loud groups which made finding a quiet area difficult, especially one with shade. The food was generally quite good, if you were not eating at the buffet. The buffet had very mediocre food most days. We resorted to the taco truck open every night which was very good. The pantry with food 24/7 was stocked simply with ramen, cereal and ham and cheese sandwiches along with water and juice, but that was about it. Would have been nice to have some chips or candy. The beach area was the best part, with good food, drinks and ocean access, however it is very difficult to get lounge chairs with shade unless you're able to get on the first ride there. The La Cruz market is only a 2 minute walk from the Beach property, and is definitely worth a visit for the food and artwork. The service was very good, especially down at the beach. Shout-out to Joel for being very friendly. We will probably not be returning to this resort, but it is definitely worth the price.

Great pools, weather and convenient transportation to beach club. The resort says all inclusive but lacks dining options as they limit the dining hours and only change the menu at the buffet. There is also no room service so you really have to plan your meals accordingly. Limited on site activities, i.e. only have movies play at night.

The food wasn’t very good they don’t know what cross contamination is.. If you have any food allergies don’t come here.. not much food at lunch there’s only one “snack bar” for the entire resort and while I was there like 3 of the items on the menu weren’t available and the menu is all ready very small.. the room was decently cleaned but a lot of random blonde hair everywhere was kinda gross ( my partner and I have brown hair) our room was at the very top of the resort so it’s a lil hike to get anywhere from our room.. our stay was fine but I wouldn’t come back
