Pyeongchang Dome Pension

The accommodation is clean and the owner is kind. Great value for money~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~^^^^^^^^^^^^~^^~^^^^^^^^

I found Dome Pension while looking for a place to stay for 2 days and 1 night at Phoenix Park Ski Resort. My criteria for accommodation were: 1. Within 7 minutes by car from the ski resort 2. Price under 120,000 won I came here purely to ski and I didn't need to book an expensive place to stay because I would arrive late, sleep, and leave early in the morning. While comparing the two places, I found the Dome House, which was the first place to reserve a 4-person room. Trip.com says it's for 2 people, but Naver Place says it's for 2 people (maximum 3 people). It's a duplex structure, and there seems to be a bed on the upper floor, so we, a family of 3, 2 adults and a 7-year-old child, slept there. When I checked in, they said that there was one more child, so they had to add 10,000 won on site. I thought that the number of people and other conditions should be the same for Naver Place and other reservation channels. People who made reservations on Naver Place can sleep 3, the rest of the channels are for 2 people.. Anyway, the room condition was so old in the photos that I didn't really expect much, but it was better than I expected. The floral patterned blanket doesn't look that bright in person. We didn't cook, but there was a gas burner, a microwave, a refrigerator, and an electric kettle, so we ate simple meals bought at a convenience store. And the upper floor was really cold, so we slept on the first floor. There was a draft, but there was an electric blanket, so we slept warmly. I was worried about whether the hot water in the bathroom would come out well, but the hot water came out well.. However, I couldn't find the boiler control, so the floor was so hot that I almost burned the soles of my feet.. It was really hot.. One side was like a fire pit and the other side was cold.. Overall, I was satisfied with the price and had a good night's sleep during the peak winter ski season weekend. I would come again during the ski season. I would like to use a 4-person room. It was quite a winding road, but I was able to park in front of the hotel, so it was convenient to take out and put my luggage. The photos and photo albums hanging in the room are said to be the work of the owner, who is a photographer, and thanks to him, I was able to see the beautiful scenery photos of Pyeongchang.
