We stayed for a week at the beginning of June, myself, husband and 2 sons, one age 3 and the other age 5. The hotel is an 8 minute drive from the airport which was perfect for us. You do see planes go overhead at the hotel but it’s a few a day, not constant and it’s actually quite fun watching them ascend from the pool. There is nothing around the hotel to walk to so if you like going for a stroll in the evening this is not the place for you. There are plenty of places within a short drive though and you can get a taxi from out the front of the hotel. Just agree a price before you get in. The hotel complex is large and very very well maintained. The pools and grounds are beautifully kept, there are constantly gardeners and maintenance people tidying and cleaning. The greenery and flowers everywhere are beautiful. There are a number of pool areas. The large splash pool where the water is abut 40cms deep is great for kids up to about age 12. It has a large slide play area in the middle with water spraying out and numerous slides and fun for the kids. There are also multiple slides around this pool for different ages. My kids loved this pool and I felt safe enough to let them wander around and play while I sat near the edge or on a sunbed close by. This is the pool we tended to stay by all day. It’s easy to get a sunbed anywhere and they have a thick waterproof mattress on them and are very comfortable. You get towel cards when you check in and trade these in for pool towels each day. There is also another pool which is deeper that you can swim in as well as a wave pool, with waves twice a day, the adult water slide section with some crazy water slides and a lazy river that you have to paddle round in an inflatable dinghy. The pools are all warm, very clean and everyone is kept safe by the amazing lifeguards, they really kept an eye on everyone and also doubled as entertainers for the smaller kids as they would joke around with them. The only issue around the pools was the music which was so loud and at times pretty intense dance music. There are pool bars that serve the drinks, beer, cocktails, local spirits and soft drinks and also put on snacks at different times during the day. The animation team were really friendly and try to get everyone involved but don’t hassle you if you’re not up for joining in. They have an amphitheater were they put on a mini kids disco (this was pretty late) and then the evening entertainment after that. It was ok. The food in the main restaurant is plentiful, honestly so much of everything and always being replenished with freshly made items. As others have said if you’re British you might struggle to find stuff to eat every day but that’s not to say the food is bad because it wasn’t at all, there just wasn’t a lot I recognised at dinner. The kids struggled more with the food and tended to eat pizza or pasta every day which is freshly prepared to order so you can be queuing for this for a long time. The desse
