Seahai Stay (May Fourth Square MIXC)

The location is quite good, but there's a strong fishy smell in the room, not sure why. Also, it's a bit older in reality than in the pictures, but that's understandable since it's a guesthouse.

### I. Location and Transportation Right in the city center, located in a residential apartment building, directly across from MixC mall, which makes shopping and dining very convenient (MixC is pet-friendly, strollers are allowed). However, the surrounding traffic is quite chaotic, and parking is inconvenient and comes with a fee. They do arrange a designated parking spot in the underground garage, but it requires manual gate opening, so every time you leave, you have to call someone to open it, which isn't a great experience. ### II. Front Desk and Service The service was decent, and being able to bring pets is a big plus, as no other hotels in the vicinity allow them. They added me on WeChat several days in advance, and on the day of arrival, a group chat was created with a B&B manager to assist with communication. You need two cards plus a password lock to enter and exit, which is a bit inconvenient, but the staff member had a good attitude. ### III. Hygiene Hygiene was the most disappointing aspect this time. The room overall was not cleaned properly; the details showed it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in a long time, a far cry from the advertised "Wabi-sabi style" – it was more like "battle-damaged style" in reality. I didn't feel very comfortable staying there, and both the mattress and pillows were hard, leading to poor sleep. I hope the owner pays more attention to this. ### IV. Breakfast I didn't have breakfast at the B&B this time. The noodle shop downstairs is delicious, so I recommend going out to eat directly; there are more choices and it's more convenient. ### V. Overall Review The only advantage is the good location, but the hygiene, parking, and traffic aspects were all quite poor, with a significant discrepancy from what was advertised. The building next door is currently under renovation, with loud banging starting every morning around 6 AM... If you're particular about living quality and hygiene, I recommend considering other options carefully. However, if you only care about a central location and don't have high demands for your stay, the price of over 200 yuan offers decent value for money.

This was my second stay, and overall it was quite good. The best part is its proximity to MixC Mall and Wusi Square subway station. Very satisfied!

Beyond its good location, there's nothing else positive to say. The building is in an old residential complex, parking is very inconvenient, room hygiene was concerning, and the facilities were just average. We only stayed one night and quickly moved somewhere else.

Location: Centrally located, right next to Qingdao Vientiane City, about a 700-meter walk from May Fourth Square. The Chef BBQ downstairs is excellent. It's also around 200 meters from the subway station, making dining and getting around very convenient. Environment: The room was clean and tidy, well-equipped with all necessary amenities, and decorated warmly, perfect for couples. Service: Parking was convenient. The owner even waived one night's parking fee for our three-night stay, which is great for those traveling by car. Check-in was smooth, with clear instructions; after contacting them online, we just picked up the key card at the front desk on the first floor. Overall, a very good accommodation experience! I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Qingdao!

When we first arrived, the front desk staff greeted us and even sent us a Qingdao travel guide document in advance, which was very useful for people like us who don't like to plan. Facilities: The facilities are all good and clean. You can even do laundry, and laundry detergent is provided. You can also cook, which is very convenient. Just a small suggestion: there aren't enough power outlets.
