Qingdao Jinli Hotel

The hotel environment is superb, the location is excellent, and the front desk staff are highly service-oriented and attentive.

Exceeded all expectations! A quiet oasis in the midst of everything. We even got a room upgrade, and the service was excellent. The soundproofing in the room was fantastic, I slept like a baby. There was also a very cute cat sitting at the entrance at night. Sitting in the courtyard or strolling around the streets at night was a really lovely experience.

The service was excellent, and the hotel had a fantastic ambiance. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Qingdao. It was clean, the owner has great taste, and the room facilities were all well-equipped. It would be even better if breakfast were included, so I could enjoy it in the beautiful courtyard.

The entrance is beautiful, and the staff are friendly and helpful, even assisting with luggage since there's no elevator. It's a charming example of Qingdao's distinctive architecture and very close to Qingdao Railway Station. The only downside is that the immediate area feels a bit deserted, almost desolate.

This hotel is a century-old building that has been renovated, giving it a great sense of history. Although the rooms aren't huge, they are well-laid out and fully functional. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and responsive to guests' requests. It's also within walking distance of the bustling commercial street.

The room layout is beautiful, and the hotel itself is stunning, especially the fountain which sparkles in the sunlight. The windows are very soundproof, and this room type has excellent natural light with five windows. If you open the inner window, you can see a bit of the fountain, and it can be a little noisy, but once closed, it's completely silent. The bed is also very comfortable, and the room's location provides incredible soundproofing. The downsides are the limited flat surface space in the room, no desk or chair to sit and work at, and the view from the bed faces the door, which feels a bit awkward and takes some getting used to.

Jinli at night is absolutely stunning! The front desk lady even called me before I arrived to communicate. Check-in was super quick, and the bellhop helped bring my luggage to the room. The room facilities are very new, and the hygiene is spotless. I'll definitely stay at Jinli again next time I visit.

Compared to typical business hotels like Atour and Ji Hotel, Jinli is truly unique. The entire hotel boasts German-style architecture, and the night view is stunning – perfect for photos right from the hotel. Opened in 2025, the facilities are brand new and there's no unpleasant smell. The whole neighborhood is very quiet, and the soundproofing in the rooms is excellent. Although there aren't many rooms, the service hasn't suffered; the front desk staff are incredibly welcoming.

This was the second 'mystery' hotel I stayed at in Qingdao. Upon arrival, the front desk told me they'd upgraded my room. Definitely choose a room on the second floor, not the first – it's too damp and smells musty. They upgraded me from a south-facing room to a north-facing one (the south-facing room had an obstructed view and no natural light). It's an old building that's been renovated, so the exterior looks very new. The courtyard is also clean. It seems to be a two-story building with an added attic. As soon as I entered the room and opened the door, there was a strong, damp, moldy smell. I felt uncomfortable all night and had a sore throat until the next day. I only stayed for one night. Facilities: The in-room amenities are all smart, which is quite good. The walls are black, making the room feel a bit dark, especially the bathroom. A suggestion would be to change to brighter lights.
