I was a bit worried before going, seeing the low ratings for the hotel, but my actual stay was pretty good. Even though the hotel is a bit old, it's well-maintained, and the cleanliness was good; I didn't experience the housekeeping issues others mentioned. Special shout-out to Lily at the front desk – she answered all my questions, was professional, quick, and very friendly. Another very helpful lady from the concierge team, whose name I forgot, spent a long time helping me find an umbrella. The room cleaning was thorough, and when I asked a staff member in the hallway for directions, her response was warm, friendly, and professional. The beach is beautiful, not crowded, with clear water and fine sand. Now, after the positives, I have to address some negatives. First, the bellhops at this hotel are pretty much just for show. On the day I checked in, it was raining. The bellhop only opened the car door for me, then just walked around with an umbrella near me while we were left in the rain to get our luggage from the trunk and bring it into the hotel ourselves. Second, this is the first time I've ever seen a wedding held in a hotel lobby. I tried to understand, thinking maybe it was due to bad weather forcing a planned outdoor wedding indoors, but was it really necessary to weld structures like flower arches and display boards in the lobby with such loud noise? This also shows the hotel's lack of preparedness for hosting weddings (don't even try to say there were too many weddings that day and no other space; it just screams "greedy for money"). Third, for a hotel of this caliber, especially one by the sea, there wasn't even an umbrella provided in the room. In summary, most of the staff were excellent, but the hotel management has some issues.
