Fuxin Hotel

Fu Xin Mansion is connected to Qingdao Municipal Government. I booked a full sea-view room directly facing May Fourth Square. The room has a washing machine, microwave, mini-fridge, and trouser press, making it suitable for long stays. The breakfast was rich, and for dinner, you can combine the buffet with individual seafood hot pots. Each person gets their own pot, and the dishes are plentiful. Hotel guests receive a discount. The restaurant supervisor was very enthusiastic and recommended the fried dough sticks, which I tried while they were hot. The buffet restaurant staff were also very welcoming and showed us to our seats. I truly felt the hotel's exquisite service and management quality. I would definitely stay here again next time I visit Qingdao.

Extremely satisfied. From my window, I could see Qingdao's landmark May Fourth Square, and in the distance, the beach and sea. There are many great restaurants and small shops nearby, which was very convenient! I used this hotel as my base for my five-day trip. Taxi services were satisfactory. Facilities: Worthy of a 4-star rating. Cleanliness: The staff frequently cleaned. Environment: Both the interior and exterior environments were pleasing. Service: The staff were warm, thoughtful, and helpful in solving any issues.

The location is convenient, with May Fourth Square right nearby. The room was okay, but the bathroom was a bit small. The showerhead was old and didn't have good water pressure, but after I mentioned it, they were proactive in offering a room change, so I guess that's alright.

The hotel is conveniently located near May Fourth Square, making it easy to get around. MixC shopping mall is also right next door with plenty of dining options. It's a sea-view room very close to the subway, and right in front of the city hall, so it feels very safe to stay here.

The room was spacious enough for three guys, and the beds were just the right firmness. The service was very attentive, and the area around the hotel was lively. It's also quite close to the subway station. My only minor complaint is that it's a bit old, but otherwise, no issues. Plus, it's very near MixC shopping mall.

I didn't plan ahead and booked this hotel last minute on Trip.com. It's an older four-star hotel owned by the government. The staff are all very proper, dressed in dark suits. You can tell they're well-trained, probably from hosting a lot of government groups. Overall, their service awareness is pretty good. The room is a bit dated; the carpet definitely needs replacing as it's a little dirty. However, the bedding was quite clean, and the bathroom had no strange odors, just some signs of age. The toilet had an automatic seat cover, which somewhat compensates for the lack of renovation. All towels were sealed in paper bags, preventing staff from reusing dirty ones as new. The breakfast had a wide variety of options. Free parking was convenient. It's right next to MixC, which has plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping – I heard it's the most commercially valuable MixC mall. The hotel lobby also has an airport check-in counter with a shuttle bus service, though checked luggage costs extra. I received a free upgrade to a sea-view room, so I could see the ocean. Overall, it was a decent stay.

Great location, right behind the city hall. The breakfast was outstanding, and the service was excellent. I particularly liked that the towels were individually sealed. The only downside was that the room facilities were a bit dated.

The room isn't huge, but it's well-equipped and has everything you need, from laundry detergent to a microwave – definitely a thumbs up! The location is absolutely unbeatable, right in the city center, behind the municipal government building. It's within walking distance to malls like MixC and Ginza, and also May Fourth Square. The sea view room faces the May Wind sculpture, and you can even watch the light show from the comfort of the hotel. However, I'd still recommend going to Fushan Bay to get the full view. The hotel's delivery robot entertained my child for a long time. The hygiene is excellent; all towels are individually sealed and disposable, and the toilet has a smart seat that can be changed at any time. It was a fantastic stay, highly recommended, and great value for money!

Great location and a classic hotel with good service. However, when I asked for a late check-out, it was flat-out refused without even a glance. Later, a staff member nearby mentioned it was actually possible...
