Yitel Collection Hotel (Qingdao Railway Station Zhanqiao Seaview)

After an unpleasant first night, when I returned to the hotel in the evening, the front desk gave me two small gifts, saying they were snacks and toiletries. They also apologized for the room change request call in the morning. When I asked for two rolls of toilet paper in the evening, the front desk brought them over quickly, and their attitude was very good.

The hotel boasts a simple yet elegant ambiance. The front desk service was attentive, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation with plenty of hot water. The front desk staff were very responsive, and the location is convenient for transportation. I had a peaceful and comfortable night's sleep. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I would definitely choose this hotel again.

The rooms are clean, the service is warm, and there are many attractions nearby. Highly recommend, great value for money!

This hotel is super convenient, just a 10-minute walk from Qingdao Station. The service was excellent, very warm and welcoming. It's also about a 10-minute walk to Zhanqiao Pier, so the location is fantastic!

My daughter and I booked this windowless room because we had an early high-speed train the next morning, so we chose a hotel close to the station. The environment was great. A short while after we went up to the room, the front desk called to check if we were satisfied and informed us that the water and tea bags were complimentary. The subway station is right downstairs, so the location is excellent and very convenient. Just a short walk away, you can see the pier with a bathing beach underneath.

I ended up choosing Hanting Premium Hotel, and it definitely proved to be the right choice. **Location:** The location couldn't be better. It's directly opposite the East Square of Qingdao Station. After getting off the high-speed train, it's just a few minutes' walk with your luggage. Metro Line 1 and Line 3's Qingdao Station Exit G has an elevator directly connecting to the hotel. Getting to May Fourth Square, Badaguan, and the Underwater World is a direct ride on one bus, no transfers needed, which is super convenient. **Room:** I booked a Deluxe Seaview King Room. Opening the window revealed a stunning first-line sea view, with Zhanqiao Pier, Huilan Pavilion, and Little Qingdao all in sight. Waking up and drawing the curtains in the morning truly made the room price worth it. The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was soft, and the mattress was just the right firmness. The bathroom had a wet/dry separation, and the hot water was quick and stable. **Service:** The front desk attendant checked me in very quickly. She even proactively reminded me about the low tide for clam digging and offered tips to avoid tourist traps in the area. She also gave me a bottle of water when I left, which was a nice touch and a big plus for the attention to detail. **Amenities:** There's a self-service laundry room, which was very convenient for washing clothes after two days of exploring. The breakfast had both Western and Chinese options, with porridge, steamed buns, bread, and hot dishes available – perfect for a 'Northern stomach' like mine. Right downstairs are Zhanqiao Pier, Zhongshan Road, Yinyu Lane, and the Catholic Church. It was lovely to take an evening stroll and enjoy the sea breeze. For this price, staying in a sea-view room in the core area of Zhanqiao is incredibly good value for money. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Qingdao.

This time, traveling with my child from Jinan to Qingdao, I chose the HEYI Hotel, and the experience exceeded my expectations! The location of the Qingdao Zhanqiao store is fantastic; it's right next to the Qingdao Railway Station subway stop, making it very convenient to get to city attractions or take the subway to Mount Lao. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the staff were friendly and communicative when we had requests. There are plenty of great food options downstairs, making it easy to find a meal. Zhanqiao Pier is right outside, and going beachcombing at night was incredibly fun. Overall, it's great value for money and the top choice for a family trip. Highly recommended!

This place has very obvious pros and cons. The biggest pro is the fantastic location, right by the subway entrance. The sea view is exactly as described, and it even has its own private elevator, so wait times are decent. The downsides are the outdated room facilities and noticeable historical dirt/stains.
