Lvfeng Hotel (Qingdao May Fourth Square MixC)

Overall, it was decent. The location is excellent, right next to the Annex building of MixC, making transportation very convenient. The subway entrance is about 200 meters away. The room was quite spacious, and for a budget hotel, it was pretty good. However, the bathroom had some frustrating issues. First, the smart toilet's flush pressure was incredibly strong; the water would splash out about 60 cm, hitting my legs. Second, the shower switch was the strangest I've ever seen. It was just an on/off switch with no way to adjust the water flow. And every time you turned the water on or off, you had to re-adjust the temperature, so it was easy to get scalded or get cold. Also, the bathroom floor wasn't sloped, so shower water easily overflowed out of the bathroom and onto the main floor.

The room was clean and tidy, and the front desk service was friendly, comfortable, and attentive. Housekeeping was prompt, thoughtful, and thorough. The hotel's location is excellent and convenient, very close to MixC. I will definitely book again next time.

The location is excellent, just a short walk to May Fourth Square, and right downstairs from MixC Mall. The room was very clean, and having a private washing machine with a dryer made doing laundry after sightseeing so convenient. The surrounding area is very lively and great!

This is the perfect place to stay if you love shopping malls! The transportation is convenient. Exit A2 of Wusi Square Station, turn left, walk for five minutes, and you'll see Yuexi Apartments on your right. The front desk is on the first floor for check-in. Nearby, there's a 7-Eleven and a Luckin Coffee, and a few restaurants further up the street. I'm giving it five stars mainly because the price is acceptable, and the staff at the front desk was friendly and polite. The in-room amenities aren't perfect; I recommend reading other reviews as many people have already pointed out key issues. However, these seem to be building-wide problems (like dimly lit corridors to save energy, slow elevators, etc.). Although the room I stayed in didn't have a stunning view (it wasn't a sea view room and was blocked by the building in front), the bed and pillows were very comfortable for all three nights, and housekeeping cleaned daily. For your first check-in, it's easier to enter from the first floor. Once you have your room card, you can access Yuexi Apartments from the 6th-floor Sky City Garden, which connects directly to MIXC Mall. The in-room washer and dryer are very convenient, and they provide a small packet of laundry detergent daily. The refrigerator is large and cold enough! I suggest adding a plate or two and some utensils to the kitchen, which would make it even more convenient for guests.

The view was great, and the room was spacious and lovely. It was a good room with a refrigerator and even a washing machine. The bed was large, and having a table and sofa made it convenient for meals.

Location: 1st-floor lobby of China Resources MixC Apartment, No. 6 Jia Shandong Road, about a 15-minute walk from Wusi Square Station on Metro Line 3. Transportation: A 20-minute walk to the train station, or about a 20 CNY taxi ride. Dining recommendations: Nearby are MixC Mall and several Chinese restaurants.
