Friendliest reception staff in China so far and the standards were very high everywhere else too. The people working there seemed really genuinely nice with honest faces and smiles. I liked them. For the price, the room was sufficient with AC, double bed, a good sized ensuite with a range of complimentary amenities, water and kettle/television etc. The hotel was very popular with many Russian tourists. A basic buffet breakfast was included too. It is a reliable choice for the price.

Pricey but there's no other options and it's the border hotel so can't really complain. I'm definitely not going to wild camp near a border so this was a good fit. Breakfast was simple but good. There's a convenience store inside. Lots of space for parking.
